For my money a PSE is an experience with a porn star--nothing less. But I often see reviews, discussion board posts, and provider ad pages that mention PSE's being offered or asked for by and from non-porn stars (anal, facials, etc.).
So what do you guys think? Is a PSE something you can only get from porn star or is it recieving services similar to what you see in a porn flick from a "regular" provider?

Like Being In A Porn Movie Experience or some such deravation. The similarities are the full rich menu and the wantonness with which it is delivered, yet without screen credentials, it's just not PSE.
I agree with all 6 of his point, but I add that the porn star is willing to do with me any of the acts she has done in her movies. I find it a real let down when a PS won't do what they are famous for and they always have an excuse for not doing it. As far as a PSE, the are many non PS that give PSE mostly because they are just wild women and love what they do and love pleasing their clients, I can't always say that about porn stars.
And I would add one more (this one very important for me):
Greek.
Now this could fall under your #2, as they may have done a greek scene in previous movies. I have a few PSE (Allison Kilgore, Ryan O'Conner, etc.). And all had very good greek. I guess I would further define PSE as (willing to do the things they do in their movies). An I personally don't see a Pornstress (poetic license) unless she has done greek in a recent film.

The use of the GFE term has really gotten out of hand. It really started out to be an abbreviation for the acronyms from a good session. Therefore, GFE can be summed up, at a minimum, in the following equation:
The relatively new acronym PSE is already being thrown around like dollars at a strip club. After understanding the previous equation, PSE can be summed up by the following equation:
PSE = GFE with a porn star + nasty porn star attitude and performance during session (allowance of photos and filming are examples of such)
The definition of a porn star must also be addressed. I am not going to go on a long definition, but I will say the lady MUST have had commercially released videos. No internet mpegs from their website etc. count. Therefore, the PSE acronym can never be used for a lady who does not have a commercially released video. If you can't go to your local video store and rent or buy a video with said lady performing hardcore in it you can't say you had a PSE.
Finally, if any one of the elements of the equation is missing it can't be referred to by a GFE or a PSE!
I would also further add that multiple cups of coffee are also part of the GFE equation when booking for at least one hour. When booking 1/2 hour appointments one cup in the norm.
While I respect your and everyone else's right to do as you please, I think your GFE definition is really just Unsafe Sex. GFE to me means that the woman treats you as if you were dating, not just "please come in, enjoy my body while I lay here motionless thinking about what I'm doing the rest of the day, and then leave". Thus the 'G' for girlfriend.
You are entitled to your opinion but your definition really doesn't provide any information to the hobbyist. Based on your definition a provider could be considered a GFE if you went out to dinner and just held hands. Hell, she could be considered a GFE is she said she had a headache and just went to bed. As I said, the definition came about as an abbreviation for the acronyms most hobbyist consider essential to a visit. I also think you are off base with your comment as to it being unsafe sex. The BBBJ issue has been debated to no end so I don't think there is need to venture in that area. Oh by the way, I NEVER had a girlfriend give me a CBJ.
