You guys can say what you want and I know some of you don't care for the man, but this particular board was better when Doc was present. He continually provided quality information, links and photos of some of our favorite ladies. Perhaps he's got a bit of an ego, who doesn't, but I for one miss his insight and knowledge.
What was once a great place to exchange ideas and information,
Has now turned into one big commercial and Flame war central.
If anyone remembers, this is what killed the dog boards and im sorry to say this might be happening here.
With all due respect to someone who has given me some good advice in the past , but it seeems that this is turning into an infomercial for Fasteddie and Kathy Willets promotions.
Look I hope they reach thier goal and everyone walks away happy, but every other thread devoted to this is a bit much.
And this notion that " if you dont like it move on" well whatever happened to dissenting opinions if done in a civil way.
Or only "SENIOR Hobbiest" have a say , whatever they are.
I know I leave myself open to Flaming from Fans of pinklips who think I personally attacked her in this post, but hopefully we can go back to a great place to get and give information without agendas.
I have been very careful to NOT remove dissenting opinions, even when I know it will start flames. There are a lot of personality clashes on this board. I have allowed off topic discussions, just so this board doesn't become merely a place to post ISOs on PSEs. It is a bit of a balancing act that I am still trying to get a hold on.
If you believe that one group or a couple of people are overwhelming the board, the best defense is to be more active in posting. The critisim of fasteddie and kathy is not truly fair. Yes, they have been advertising under the rules but they have only started a few threads. They are very active threads and the crtics on both sides have spilled over the original threads. If it gets out of hand I will trim it back.
Please keep posting, lurkers add nothing that makes the board interesting. I have also decided to be more active on deleting posts by those that just attack every post made by certain others. This should help reduce some of the sillier shit. Many people publicly and privately have asked for an end to the poster stalking.

Thanks Michael, for pointing out that we've only started a few of the threads...
Since the pornstar weekend site was started in mid sept., Kathy and I have STARTED a TOTAL OF 6 POSTS. Well within the rules of advertising. And a few of them were to announce changes to the site (like the addition of Sinnamon Love as an alternate), or to address a problem we had with Paypal
Also within the rules, when replying to other posts, I added the PSW banner at the bottom with a link to the site. I don't think this should offend anyone, but maybe I'm wrong.
We tried to make this a fun thing, and we thought it was a great new idea that everyone would find interesting. That it got out of hand, I'm sorry for. This is a board for and about pornstars, and our little adventure surely falls into that category: Frankly, both Kathy and myself are surprised at the amount of vitriole it's caused. However, neither Kathy or I feel that we can allow ourselves to be "run off the boards" by the unfounded rantings of another poster with an ax to grind.
As an idividual poster, I've always tried to ignore flames, or keep the back-and-forth to a minimum. As a partner in a business venture, however, I felt that we couldn't simply ignore the inuendos that were being posted. It's one thing to post a bad review of a PSE, or make negative comments about a girl, an agency, or a fellow hobbyist, but when it becomes mean-spirited and an obvious attempt to cause financial harm, then it should be addressed, and that is what I've attempted to do...
That being said, and against my better judgement, from this moment on, I will no longer respond to the posts of a certain someone we all know. I know he'll gloat and consider it a victory on his part, but hopefully by ending the useless flame war, we can get back on track...
I will still be posting ads, within the guidelines allowed.
For those who have defended both Kathy, myself and our little adventure, Thank you. And for those who have put up with the endless bullshit, Thank you too.

Very nicely said you are full of class some others should take some lessons from you.
I wish you luck with the adventure

flame throwing messages. As I said before, the content of this board is large dictated by members. It is up to you, me and others to shape the issues.
Skip messages are very easy these days with the advent of wheel mouses. ![]()
Happy Hobbying to all.
Everyone thinks their posts are interesting, but you are right, you can just skip over the ones you don't want to read.

Ever look at the TBD Pornstar board... now that forum has sunk. They only get a couple of posts a week anymore.
Perhaps an idea to curb mass discussion under one topic is to only allow one post per person per thread. In other words, once you post a comment under a thread, you cannot post anymore without starting a new thread.
Doing that will quickly fill a page and potential flame war topics will scroll off pretty fast. Think about it, when you check this board do you flip back page per page for the past few days, or do you just check the first page for recent topics?
Just my .02.
Your idea has a lot of merit and I can tell that you haven given it more than a little thought, but the truth is(and I dont mean to offend anyone in particular,) that there just arent that many interesting people who post on the TER and when they come up with something interesting to say, we should let them run with it.

He did provide us with good info but he was just too full of himself. He was arrogant and thought he knew everything. We are better off without him around. Too much of an attitude.
It takes people a while to figure it out but over time the assholes disappear and the people who get it seem to hang in there to add value to all of our experiences.
I use two guidlines for myself:
1. If I think I am posting too often, I am! And I stay away for a while.
2. If I think I've been too negative, I am! And I stay away for a while.
My only exception is that I love to bully the bullies! But overtime they disappear and I am still here fucking the hot chicks!

I agree with you Carl, can you believe that? and I have noticed over the last couple of days that most people have been behaving themselves, now if could just get some interesting threads started(LOL) come on you lurkers and those who have been afraid to post in the past, its safe to come out and play, let us know what you think.

i find myself agreeing with most of what's been said in this thread ... people should participate instead of bemoaning the dearth (or death) of what they like (or once liked) ... to not participate is to relinquish control to others which starts a slippery slide towards a different "regime" (other than what you prefer)
but the ONE thing that i consider most important is making this board a welcoming place for the talent (women, pornstars, providers, etc). there are not many places around the net where slobs like us have the opportunity to interact with pornstars (specifically, ones we actually get to bang!) and to chase them off this board with assinine machismo and/or an uncivil tongue or even outright "cruelty" is a darn shame!
what we guys do/say to each other is one thing, but how we interact with the women is another IMHO. it's not so much that they are "women" or "ladies" even (as in dainty little things we should treat politely and with kid gloves etc) it's because they are the VERY REASON this board exists ... to draw an analogy that [cough] even NASCAR fans could understand, it would be like logging on to a message board to chat with Dale Earnheardt Jr. (or whoever) and to then proceed to berate and ridicule him (and other racers) because you didn't like the way he made that swerve in the final round (or whatever) ... substitute your favourite sport (or "hobby") and i think you get the picture
JMHO ... and with all due respect to NASCAR fans! ![]()
