It's quite late to answer this... but i've never seen this post. And i feel i have to defend myself in this case. When you said "last year" that is mean 2007 than. I was working with an agency for a 2-3 weeks back to 2007 in LA. I'm very sorry that we could not meet back than, but working with an agency means that is not me who handling the bookings. I have to apologize in the name of the agency that they mixed up our rendezvous, even if i did not know about it..  
I'm working independently from 2008, this kind of accidents never happen with me as i value and respect my clients time.
