I addressed this question in a thread, and either because it has not been read enough by those who care,or perhaps because it's not discussing who's clit is bigger, there hasn't been any replies to my question/poll.

So here it is:  Does TER need another board, I mean we have the "it" board, politics, boards for many major cities,and the board for general discussion?

Since it seems as though there is now a poliferation of girls getting into the adult video business, specifically the "web" part of Porn, perhaps we should still have the PS board, for those who fit the "old school" of video.

 The girls who actually filmed videos for release,the ones who actually know what it's like to have a makeup artist on the set, wardrobe etc.

The girls who know how to dress, to look glamorous etc.

And the new board, for those who rollout of bed,hardly any makeup, wardrobe consists of jeans and a dirty t-shirt, we've all seen the type, usually in the lower economic areas of our cities.

The Porn World, i.e. the web sites such as "Bang This or Bang That, with the Big Pizza Boat Captain".  This new type of porn, is getting anything that has a pu--y, and will have sex on camera, with no regards to looks, or figure.

Are we that desperate to actually see a girl have sex, that we will subject our eyes to girls who are fat, and unattractive ?

So, I think we need another boad, to clean up this board, and have a specific board for those who don't fit the tried and true defintion of a PS.

Perhaps we could call it the skank board, as far as I can tell,it seems as though there is definitly enough interest by the poster's.

How to decide, now THAT is a tuff one.

How about using this method, a girl with a recognizable name, one that is familiar, or at the very least, her name rings a bell.

How about a girl who actually "looks" like the percieved image of a PS. And that has receives that are solid, (8 to 10's) for reviews.

This board use to contain questions/observations of recognizable PS names, at the very least, once a day.

TER came up with the scheme of advertising in men's magazines,not that there is anything wrong with that.

But in doing so,it has flooded this site with people looking for Suzie Smith from West Elephant Breath Montana, guys who can afford to buy men's magazines, videos, and a monthly charge to "Big Captain Pizza Bus Driver";  and possibly a girl who charges 150.00 to 300.00.

But can't afford the recognizable PS.  The decline in this board, with discussions of "known" PS's is obivious to everyone who has been on this site for more than 2 years.

Case in point, you and Eddie stated that TER brought you on board as moderators,in an attempt to bring it back to it's glory days.  I believe one of you stated that, or alluded to the general idea of said statement.

The average businessman/lurker, use to be able to visit this board and garner his needed info quite easily, as the discussions were of known girls.

Now a businessman/lurker, who we all know really doesn't have the time, nor inclination to post, has to search and search, combing thru endless ISO's of girls, WHO HAVE NO BUSINESS calling themselves PS's.

I really do not have anything against this girl, I'm sure she is very nice, but lets call a spade a spade, she is NOT attractive, and from what little I can observe, it appears that she might be on the pudgy side.

Now jump on me all that you want, I'm sure it's not the first time she has realized it, or been told such.  But my guess is, she has no idea that this board even exists, let alone visit it and be upset with my post.

Blame the production and internet companies and the myriad of guys who are willing to pay to see these type of girls.

First of all Vector, you and I are in 100% agreement as to the state of porn today.  But even with that fact, your post is a little harsh.

Remember, one man's ceiling is another man's floor... the mere fact that this genre of porn attracts a huge audience is proof that while many of these girls obviously don't appeal to you, the do to a whole lot of other guys, and I'm sure many who would be willing to pay a lot more than you would.

I'm sure there is a certain group of guys who would say that the "known" pornstars you speak about are over-rated or washed up.  I don't happen to agree with that statement, but I certainly don't have the chutzpah to claimm that my view is the only correct one.

I never said that there wasn't a large number of men who enjoy watching this type of girl, and who finance these types of productions.

My post is about THIS board, and with what use to be at THIS board.  You're skirting the issue, and trying to placate everyone, which you've always been very good at doing.

I'm not blaming the girls, but a spade is a spade, if she is unattractive, and by that I mean we all know that Cindy Crawford is attractive, as is Julia Roberts, however neither one does much for me.

I think we can all agree that Sahra Bernhard is down right unattractive, she might float your boat, so therefore you want to watch her take 2 up her ass.  We can all agree that Roseann Barr is fat, and there might be some who want to watch a fat girl take 2.

I've been reading/posting here since 2002...IMO, the board was a good & informative site back in 02, & it still is now...I don't share the opinion that TER was somehow great several yrs. back & sucks now, or vice versa...I think it's been consistently good...

I mean, there's only so much to talk about on the board..Before I wrote reviews, I would write a mini-review of some stars I saw (ie: Aria, Shay Sights, Nikita Denise, etc.) but eventually started w/regular reviews...While it's certainly useful to know if someone does/does not escort, & mini-reviews can help, the most useful info. is in detailed reviews & exchanging PM's, & is not on the general boards...

Really the issue comes down to marketing and a push from  an established company.. I think my proplem in general even if you take out steller looks is you earn a PSE tag..  You dont just go do a few gonzo movies... Gonzo girls aren't Porn Stars.... They are the lower level girls or in therory should be.

Porn Stars in a certain was are remembered over time .. Their not some girl that does 300 flicks a yr. Yes she is making a name for herself and doing alot of work. But thats not the right kind of work to become a Legend. In 10 yrs no one will remember most of these girls names. But legands are remembered.. Look at the 80' and 90's girls they are fondly remembered and wanted. The ladies today we cant even remember there name with out a pic and a search of them.
