They know how to make people want to follow them, plus there good at keeping fans updated on their respective projects!

Of course you get the bad too, like Lisa Ann - so stuck on herself, Lisa this, Lisa that, Minka Tan - who must be so bored at the ranch she just Tweeters aimlessly away and Teri Weigel - who basically doesn't want any interaction with anyone, especially if your from the Porn world; she also posts the same photo over and over again; bad!

Mercedes Ashley who uses it as a great business tool on all levels. Love it when she let's you know that is out providing the goods and what city she's doing it in!

you can tweet from your phone... When I'm shooting or preparing for webcam, a date or just feeling sexy, I twitpic photos of whatever I'm wearing... or if I'm making dinner I tweet menus. Once a week I hop on ustream and stream live for my followers to watch me prepare some gourmet meal. I use my twitter as a direct line to the fans... a way to communicate that is different from my website because I'm not "selling" them anything. By giving them an opportunity to get to know me as a person it makes them more interested in me as a product. Even for hobbyists.. it gives them an idea of me as a person and whether I'm someone they'd want to hang out with. I've often booked girls for my productions for Venus Girls through twitter, and have spoken with companies owners, directors or other talent I wanted to work with or vice versa and landed paid jobs. I am often approached by magazine, websites and radio stations to do interviews through twitter. And often have club promoters approach me there as well. Its a great marketing tool as a performer and certainly has other perks as well. Lots of adult stars post links to their wishlists, their website, their webcam streams, their niteflirt phone sex lines and their raise money for charities. Sophie Dee used her twitter to raise money for an animal rescue and a ton of us used twitter to raise money for AIDS Walk LA 2010 to sponsor Team Evil Angel.

While Twitter is yet another social media phenom, it really does give you both an outlet and a promotional tool that no other community has at this point.
