There may be more tracks than just those mentioned. Simply emptying those temp files may not be enough ... especially if wifey gets suspicious and calls for her own help.
If you can pop for the 'price of admission' in this hobby, one hundred smackers or so for an Internet eraser/cleaner program may be a very wise investment.
Maybe this is not the area to post this message, but than it is this area that might have me in wee bit of a jam. I took a peek at two slideshows that Seth, a.k.a. the doctor, was kind enough to show us.(As a side note Doc I want you to know I aspire to be you one day). Here is my problem, I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to computers, but at least I always know to delete sites I visited I don't want my wife to know about. She was assisting me on my computer last night and I saw Docs files with Anna Malle and Miko(please come to Dallas)Lee. Luckily she did not pay attention to them nor open them but its a matter of time. I don't know how she found them and where to go myself but I need to locate and delete them. If anyone can please help me with this I'd be truly thankful.
I guess since I am originally from south of DFW I can help a brother out. It depends on which operating system you are running on ME/Win98 or Win2000/WinNT/WinXP and what browser you are using Internet Explorer or Netscape/Mozilla.
To delete any trace that you have been to a website you need to go to two places. To find out which OS you are using just click the start button and look at the banner to the left of all the selections. Win98/ME go to C:\Windows\and look for Temporary Internet files folder - delete the contents of this folder. Win2000/WinNT/WinXP go to C:\documents and settings\(profile name) profile name is probably your name or variation of your name \localsettings\temporary internet files delete the contents.
Step two is go into your browser Internet Explorer - open browser and click on tools and then internet options. A properties page will pop up. With the general tab selected, down near the bottom - click clear history
You can go one step further and search for *.mpg, *.rm, *.jpg, *.gif files and only delete files that are from the Doc's web site. I would assume the Doc did not use any other formats than those.
Netscape - not really sure where the clear history is in Netscape, I use it's cousin Mozilla in Linux.
Hope this helps. You can use the help menu's to help you if you run into any troubles.
Thanks for the update JBird. I was thinking that, but forgot to put it in, no matter. Good catch. One of the reasons I moved to Linux, Uncle Bill moving things around all the time.

May I humbly suggest clearing the 'Documents' menu as well by clicking 'Start', 'Settings','Taskbar & Start Menu...' etc... depending on your windoze version. A nice little macrosloth (free!)utility called Tweak UI can automate the trace clearing steps mentioned so far, and more-look in the 'Paranoia' tab.
