I have been in email contact on MySpace for a few months w/a top name porn star and asked her feelings on porn stars that escort knowing that she does not.

Seeing all the different type's of guy's most of them perform with in their movie's sure make's me wonder why they don't. Some do seem to be more choosey than other's though. I'm not sure, I tend to agree with humbolt. Considering all the hot women in porn I tend to think they get used more than strike it rich. The porn industry is definitely a very lucrative business but who is actually getting rich? I tend to think the studio's, producer's, etc. more than the women, who truely should be. Due to the fact that it's everywhere how much do the average women performer's make? With the internet you can download whole movie's for free if you know where to look, why go rent or buy one? Pretty much every country other than the good old USA and religiously fanatical one's are fairly lax on escorting from what I've heard and read. The possibility of physical danger for escort's is a real potential problem. However, look at a lot of the porn movies, how many are filmed bareback. Even though porn star's supposedly get regularly tested there are quite a few who have been infected by aid's and the list is constantly growing. Most escort's at least require a customer to use protection. One type of physical danger versus another.

Like everything else...they do it for the money. BTW, the amount of money being paid for escorts is great for the stars. A little secret, though, is that they can be had for less.
If you live in L.A. or can get to L.A. around the first of any month...you can get discount "services" from almost anyone you want. It is an unfortunate occupational hazard that most of these pornstars have no respect for money. They tend to spend it as if there was no tomorrow (or their suit-case pimps spend it for them) and as a result...when rent is due...they start calling anyone they know in the hopes of getting a "private". Even those that don't "escort" aren't above doing a "private" every now and then to make a car or insurance payment. Believe me...having been a player in the industry...I get calls for hooking them up with "privates" all the time. I do it cause they're my friends.

It's funny, most people think we all pick the guys we do movies with...NOT. Most of us have 2 lists. One group of guys we will work with and one group we won't. And sometimes we even work with strangers and ugly guys. There were plenty of times I took the ugly guy because no one would work with him.

It just amazes me the oportunities some people have while so many other's don't and never will. I guess it's kind of like the lottery, some people can play all the time and never win a thing, along come's someone else, they buy one ticket and hit the big one. To get paid to have sex with a steady supply of beautiful women is definitely a fantasy but I'm one that would leave it at that. That's true a well known porn star is certainly going to be asking and getting more for her time. But doing so also limit's the number of potential client's, possibly a good thing, possibly a bad thing. If she is like another well known porn star mentioned in a recent post it could negatively affect her. Beautiful, very desirable woman, awful review's, sound's like she's tired of being treated like a piece of meat.
