I've been quoted higher for a non-Playmate and declined, but I agreed to see one of my favorite pornstars for about 2/3 that rate, so looking at it that way, the price you've been quoted is not unreasonable.

About a year ago, I paid the same to see a UTR Playboy model that I've admired for a good amount of time.  At the time, I questioned whether I should pay that much, but I'm happy I did today.  I don't miss the $2,500, but I think about the memory all the time.  It all comes down to a personal opinion, though - to me, it's worth it to see a picture of her, hear others rave about her and know that I was able to share a fun time with her.

I've been in this hobby for about 30 years.  In that time I've had some really great dates for as low as $50 per hour.  And I've had some really awful dates for $2K or $3K per hour.  I've even blown $5K for overnighters that were hardly worth the time let alone the money.  

To give you the best example I can, I had an opportunity some years back to see Amber Lynn.  I consider her one of the hottest women to ever do porn.  She was a huge star in the 80s.  I spent $2500 to see her and it was one of the biggest disappointments I ever had.

So, as I've said in the past, it's not really about the money.  It's about the girl, her attitude, the fantasy and the opportunity.  If the woman is someone you have admired and this is a "once in a lifetime" kind of deal for you, and you can afford it, then I say: go for it.  But, i'll also caution you that you could end up being disappointed particularly if she's a UTR so you don't have other people's experiences with her to guide you.  Or, you could have the time of your life.

I'm not sure I'd pay anyone $2500 for just one hour.  She would have to be awfully special.  If she is for you, and you can afford it, then by all means, do it.  In fact, right now, I can't think of anyone I would pay that much for.
