What if a PS, or a non-PS provider for that matter, travels to more than one city in one week? The current policy of no more than one ad a week would allow her to advertise on one city board (or PS board) while preventing her from advertising on the other. many providers visit more than one city in one week.
The second problem is how will it be monitored? The boards are moderated by local members. Sure, some moderators have more than one board, but it is not centralized like the reviews are. It sounds to me that this will make moderators life harder.
I understand the need to limit spamming the boards with 100 ads by a single provider, but I would hate to miss a provider coming my way if she had to choose between which board to advertise. I am sure she would hate to lose a hobbyest as well.
Just a thought.

Don't know what will happen as a result of them, but I am interested in seeing what forum members think.

You can't also post and ad on the other within seven days.
This is a new TER policy.

who happens to travel a lot I must respectfully say this new policy devalues TERs usefulness.
cluttered with ads. It's convenient to have everything on the same board, but that's just me.

If there's a problem, I'm not aware of it.
I dislike having separate discussion and ad boards. Much easier to just have to check one board.
Until recently, it probably wouldn't have mattered to me. I generally only read this board and only look at the regional boards if I'm going to be in that area and want a "local" companion.
However, since TER's new policy is that if a porn star places an ad on the PS board then she cannot place an ad on a regional board in seven days, then I think the answer is clear: no ps ad board.
If there is no ps ad board, she should be able to post here whatever she likes AND post an ad on the regional boards. Of course, Moderator's may interpret the rule differently.
In any event, the new rule HURTS porn star providers. And I believe that a separate porn star ad board would hurt them even more. They might even decide that it's no longer worthwhile to advertise here at all, and go someplace else where the rules are not as restrictive.
By the way, I think the new rule harms ALL touring providers. If a touring lady is in NYC Sun-Wed, and Philadelphia Thu-Sat she can only post an ad in ONE of those regional boards? That seems silly to me.
This is a change in policy from past practice, and we know this, and were not consulted. I would not have advocated for this change were I consulted.
It was prompted because a booker decided to post availability ads on many local boards and on the PS Board, and Admin decided after that, that having simultaneous ads on PS and local boards constituted "double dipping" and was unfair to non-PS providers.
It's Admin's job and right to decide policies, and our jobs as moderators to enforce that (or, alternately, we should resign our positions if we feel we cannot do our jobs in good conscience), so this is what is going to happen.
