One thing you should keep in mind watching those vids: I have it on VERY good authority that what you see on the vids is NOT what you'll see if you visit the ranch. Everything is very, very, very, very cleaned up for the cameras. I'm told the place is much dingier than it appears on screen, and there is usually a haze of cigarette smoke throughout the place.
Also, keep in mind, the girls you see on the vid are most likely the most attractive ladies that they have to offer.
Those vids are more like "Cathouse advertising" than "Cathouse documentaries" because "documentary" implies that it's a factual record. From what I've heard, there are really only two facts in those vids: The ranch is a legal brothel in Nevada and it's owned by Dennis Hof. The rest, so I'm told, is pure fantasy.
Bordello owner Dennis Hof has won permission to expand his empire south into Nye County, Neveda. He has lined up Chasey Lain and Cami Parker [see link]. Do you think he can get Sunset Thomas and Teri Weigel back again?
I met Dennis Hof once. He seemed very nice and all that, but I'm just not a "brothel" girl. I much prefer to set my own rules and hours. I am also really low-volume. It's rare I would see more than one or two gentlemen in a day. I've never wanted to feel like a hamburger house, get-em-in/get-em-out kind of service. That's why I wouldn't want to work in a brothel. I'd be afraid they would want me to do too much for too many people in order to get their cut.
If it wasn't for TER and similar boards, I wouldn't even be a provider! The safety and camaraderie the internet provides is the reason I can do this, and feel safe, clean, and like I choose the guys I see.
I'm sure the brothel system works great for some people. I would totally love to go to FKK Club in Germany! It's just not for me.
What do you think?

Every dude has to fulfill that fantasy at least once of visiting a Brothel and being in a position to select that special one from a line up of beauties. For most of us, it is something you gotta get out of your system then you move on. I have not been at a Brothel for at least 10 years. Actually was at Hof's before it was so well known. Had a reasonabaly good time with a gorgeous lady. But nothing I would ever do again. My preference is that Independent lady that controls her own clock and schedule. Plus , I hate the concept of negotiation of fees & menu items. Lets all be gratefull for TER as it is a valuable tool for the ladies as much as it is for the gents.

Good Luck to him but I would not play in one now.
I know it is a business for him and he needs to make his money, but I work too hard now for my money to help him out for my pleasure.
With being single, I prefer more of a GFE session that is not possible in there. The one thing I learned from being on the boards for so long, bypass the middle man and book direct! Its just so much better!
From what i know of the situation (and I know that's not much and based on 3rd-hand info) but I doubt that Sunset or Teri will go back to working for Dennis Hof.
I've had the misfortunate of communicating with him in email. I wouldn't visit any place he owns, nor would I do business with him under any circumstance. He reminded me of a character out of The Godfather. At the very least, he impressed me as being an arrogant, egotistical blow-hard. I don't like doing business with people like that...
Of course, his personality and business practices could be why ladies like Sunset Thomas, Teri Weigel, Isabella Soprano and others no longer work for him.
Regardless, I think it's a sad day for Nevada if he is expanding his "empire".
I must admit MrFrench, I too would stay as far away from him as possible. Met him one time in Vegas when he was out at the tables - he wasn't gambling, but watching a lady friend of his at the roulette wheel. At the time, had no clue who he was (before HBO), but he was cocky and seemed like a dick. Friend of mine came over after he left to tell me who he was. With TER, why take a chance at a bad experience for too much money.
Forgive me for not doing a Michael Flattley Australian riverdance in excitement upon the news of Mr. Hof opening a new brothel...
Hof has been on Howard Stern a few times & he, IMO, never came across well (arrogant & made it out like his business is above the regular escort scene)....But far more important are the condom rules of the brothels which i could not deal with at all...
There is a better chance that Kagney Lynn Carter will be the starting center on the LA Lakers AND Tori Black will be the starting QB on the New England Patriots this season than me ever going to a brothel....
...you can see exactly how badly ripped off the girls are, and how over-priced the service is. My heavens, for what you pay for an hour in a brothel for an average looking girl you can have 4 fantastic beauties in LV off of this board.
Why anyone would use a brothel who can do a TER search is beyond me.
Rent the vids. You'll see.

I would agree. I just had more fun this past weekend with two gals than I had with one gal at the Bunny Ranch. I think independent gals have a better time too.
Chasey Lain is looking pretty damn fine!
With that location, it's doesn't matter to me.
I've been to the Bunny Ranch once before and it's way the heck out of the way. It was nice but I wouldn't schlep out there again and 85 miles away from Vegas isn't really going to make me jump for joy at this new venture. Maybe if Dennis Hoff offers car service to and from his new brothels, it will be worth getting excited about. Just sayin'.

Hof is the PT Barnum of the Nevada Brothel industry. He's had personal success - - but - - being an old timer (old dude) I've felt he's actually ruined the brothel business in Nevada. I first made some visits back in the early 1980's. Prices were pretty fair for the time (my opinnion), certainly they were much less than today. The big player at the time was Joe Conforte, at the Mustang Ranch, etc., and there used to be some pretty attractive ladies working. I don't know if Hof owned the Bunny Ranch back in the 1980's, but - believe this or not - -the place has been cleaned up and fixed up amazingly! It used to be really low, low rent! Much worse than it appears today! The house trailer's at the nearby Sagebrush ranch were castles by comparison.
Since Hof, prices at ALL the brothel's have gone up - - making the outdate/gff experience more reasonable and a better choice.
Hof will probably do much the same with another brothel closer to the main market in Las Vegas. He'll probably get a lot of first timers - - - after that - - - -???? Get ready for another round of Howard Stern visits and maybe a new HBO mockumentary or two???
I did it many moons ago after getting fed up with overpriced fun at the local strip clubs. I'll admit it. I lost my cherry at the brothels way out in the middle of friggin' nowhere and, at the time, it was worth it. But driving to Vegas to drive to the middle of nowhere to legally screw a girl for money just wasn't cost effective. But then I met TER and things got all local and less risky (in a sense anyway). God bless you internet. I really can't believe I've been on TER soooo damn long. I'm just not sure how the brothels can stay in business with all the better ways a guy can spend some quality time with a gal without driving all the way out there. Now that I think about it, it was kind of a creepy experience. Hey, if its your thing, okay, but take a bigger chunk of cash with you and gas up first. That's all I'm sayin'.
