I was going to say--doesn't this out those three? I mean there's not that many girls who have that distinction.

...culled from the Playmate UTR list:

(Drumroll . . .)

Total number of known Playmate Providers:
70

Approx. 67 years of Playboy X 12 Playmates per year = 804 Playmates... 70/804 = 9% off all Playmates have escorted.  Factoring into the equation that in the UTR list the earliest known Playmate escort was from the mid-sixties.  Assuming that there were others before her, but only taking the number of total Playmates from that time period to present, the percentage increases to 13%

Total number of Playmates of the Year:
9 (9!!!)

Again, discounting PMOY before 1965, 21% of PMOY have escorted!!!! (Even going back to the first issue in 1951, an amazing 16% of PMOY were confirmed available, and I'm betting there were more between 1951 and 1965)

Total number of Anniversary Playmates:
2

Total number of Playmate/Pet cross-overs:
3 (It looks like being a Playmate/Pet cross-over is a pretty strong predictor of availability! :-))

That's 100% of crossover Playmates/Pets!!!!

Thanks and a Tip O' The Hat to a fellow TER hobbyist (if you'd like to identify yourself, please feel free) who took my initial list and ran with it, making it a much more entertaining project.

I believe you had mentined you would share the list privately via mail if u met certain criteria.  Would u still share the list and what was the criteria?

fasteddie512060 reads

I relisted the requirements yesterday... check the last few pages.

A spreadsheet update is in the works.

It'd be great if members would keep sending names to Eddie. There are sure to be more of these ladies who are, or were available, going all the way back. There are lists started for Penthouse Pets, as well as models from both companies. All names would be appreciated.

Thanks,

U.

Hey Ed you may not have considered this but when you give a 100% predictor, they are no longer UTR.

fasteddie512217 reads

Well, technically that's correct, but all of them have been widely known to escort at one time or another so it's not really outing anyone.

BTW, although it's called the UTR Playmate list, a number of the women on it have openly escorted, so while they don't really qualify as a UTR, they were included on the list due to their Playmate status.

Would anyone have the contact info for the three Playmate/Pet cross-overs? Feel free to PM me.

fasteddie512406 reads

They all have websites with contact info.

eddie, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you might just have outed some of the UTR girls by posting your statistics.. the 100% might give them away.

Not everyone on the list has been UTR.  Teri Weigel I believe is one example of someone that is not UTR and she is a Playboy/Penthouse crossover.

Crazee691589 reads

Teri Weigel though appearing in Penthouse was never a Pet and therefore not one of the ones referred to by the 3 Crossover Playmates/Pets.

First, a LOT of Playmates and other Playboy models are no longer available. They dropped out or retired from escorting.

Second, a LOT of Hef's former "girlfriends" escorted. At least 50%.

Third, afaik only two former PMOY's are still escorting.

markella1168 reads

Teri Weigel was not a Penthouse Pet. She only did a pictorial.

I just learned something new from this thread.

I never realized that there was a differnce between being a Pet or just being in a pictorial.

I always thought if you appeared in Penthouse you were a Pet. There was a Pet of the Month and 2 or 3 other Pet's in the monthly mag.

fasteddie512992 reads

Technically you're correct.  The term Pet is used much more loosely than Playmate, and Penthouse took a different approach to things.  They had several girls who appeared as Pet of the Month multiple times as well as having regular appearances in the magazine.  (Playboy had only two repeat Playmates, and both of those occured within the first couple of years of the magazine's debut).

Also, Pet of the Year winners were not restricted to tha particular year they won the title.  In other words, she may have appeared as a Pet of the Month in 1994 and became the Pet of the Year in 1997.

But the general convention used by most of us is to bestow the title of Pet specifically to someone who was a Pet of the Month.

could someone please PM a copy of the list.  thank you in advance.

Crazee691268 reads

Teri while having been in both has never been a Penthouse Pet of the Month.

First of all, a number of the ladies on the list tried escorting and dropped out. They didn't like it or decided it wasn't for them. Meaning a lot of them may have been available at one time but are retired or otherwise unavailable NOW.Afaik that applies to all but two of the former PMOY.

I have been with two Playmates, one after she shot but BEFORE she actually appeared. I have also met 3 others who were "working" at L.A. parties I attended. At ridiculous rates compared to most of the other ladies btw.

On the Vintage Erotica board -- a must bookmark, by the way -- there are a couple of threads devoted to Penthouse Pets. The consensus is that anyone who was given a solo pictorial qualifies for the designation "pet."

On another topic, the UTR list contained some shocking vintage names. I am fairly dying to discuss these with whomever supplied them, so a PM on this topic would be a glorious thing. We're talking '70s here.
