I'm curious what others are seeing out there... I've been around long enough to remember a Top PS being $1500, and several REALLY great ones for $500-$800.
I inquired about one near me from one of the very reputable agencies, and was quoted $2500. Now I am NOT bashing or complaining about the rate I was quoted, everyone has the choice to pay what they are comfortable with, but it just brought up the thought for this post.
I'm not in an area where many PS tour to, but might come to unwind on the beaches nearby on their private time, so I have few options currently unless I'm traveling to a city with more options....then I have that damn thing called work that always seems to get into my time, so setting a time is a pain!!!

Making the average $2250
This is my experience as well. The entry-level cost for new actresses and sometimes well-established ones is about $1,500. But I think extras like BBFS are sometimes available, which adds to this cost.
I think 2K to 2.5K are now the average (again, extras may apply).
I think there are a couple of ladies who break the 3K+ mark as a regular charge. From what I observed, that is in the range of Gianna Dior and Eliza Ibarra.
Most, if not all, require outcall, and frankly, you don't want to meet a lady at a crappy hotel, so you are looking at another 300-500 for that as well.
At these ranges, most guys in this cost space are looking for experiences with a lady they want to see - this is now about dream experiences. The proliferation of different agencies (and their expansion) tells me that it is a growing niche. OF, and this serves as a more lucrative alternative to the actress than the budget and mid-company production studios of the 80s and 90s, where actresses bear the costs that make a shoot not as lucrative as a private meeting.
I agree economics have changed. I’ve been quoted 1000$ per hour for video calls on OF.
But the reality is ones that tour the per hour is more expensive now between $1500-3000.
There is some room for negotiation with the 3500 girls, but it was down to 2500 which was still too rich for my blood. What sucks is that it's still proportionally the same roughly 2x markup from provider to porn star, it's just that the regular provider base rate has gone up dramatically over the past 5 years.

You can often see the same lady on p411 for 700-1,000/hr who is on some of the above sites for 1,200 to 2,000+. Often higher rates are all inclusive.

Yes it does. I’ve been with independent ones like Charity Bangs for $800 per hour. And some Bbw stars for as little as $400. The agency girls obviously are more expensive than independent ones.
It's now at $1700+ for the hour and $1000 for a half hour if they offer a half hour session. If they are affiliated with an agency like Tryst Agency then it's 2K+ with a steep deposit. The P-Star rates are out of control if you ask me. Hooking up with your favorite porn star is becoming more of a rich man's game.

In my experience it seems 1500-1800 is the norm w/ more famous ladies often in the 2K-2500 range and some up to 2500-3K. I've seen a few exceptions being in the 1000-1200 but they seem to have priced up also in todays market. Highest I've seen was a UTR for 5K.
At some point, for me personally, it becomes a matter of not what I can 'afford' to spend but rather what I'm 'comfortable/willing' to spend. It seems as I try to return to hobbying after an extensive break I am finding the latter to be much more my issue in jumping back in as opposed to the former.

I dunno if it was accelerated due to the pandemic, but with the current, typical AVERAGE rate, seeing a PS is becoming more and more the province of the 1%.
PS rates were always naturally a lot more than those of a top notch "regular" provider, but perhaps not more than the sum of a typical, weekly, middle class paycheck.
Now, it's almost like you have to take out a second mortgage to see some of these "girls."
I honestly think even some of the PS themselves are astonished by what SOME clients are willing to pay.
I can easily see how some of them post some ridiculous sum just to see if someone, anyone is willing to pay it, and unfortunately, some apparently do.
Unfortunately, this type of mentality has now trickled down to the "MAINSTREAM" market, whereas your "average" pro is now charging what a typical PS would've charged just a few years ago.

You can filter and search by porn star on TER, top tier seems to be about $2500 and average is $1500. You can still Get some deals, you just need to do your research.
