I hope you are right. Maybe the rosters of the agencies will be impressive again.

Good riddance!

It was always nothing but a BIG scam, if you ask me.

They had you sign up under FALSE pretenses, only to offer limited PG material, steering you instead to overpriced individually charged content, which only lasted a few minutes at that.

No thanks, I’ll stick to my FREE online porn instead!  ;)

Anyone here REALLY gonna miss it?

Maybe some of these porn girls will go back to hooking instead. Although something like Brazzers+ or fantime will step up and replace it.

Back to manyvids and escorting they go. Manyvids was a COVID haven while the industry re-adjusted but many found they could fleece fools without cuttng in a studio or agent. Lana Rhodes went from blacklisted from the industry to buying a Hurracan Lambo in relatively short order. Some little known performers have outstanding content but most sorry fuckers wanted maximum pay for minimum effort and negligible quality content. Fuck’em. I’m sure another platform will pop up to take its place. I’m interested to see how far the platform goes down the shitter when they abandon porn.

Lana Rhoades does not own a Lamborghini Hurracan if that’s what you think.  I have worked with her old scheduler and know a few people that are well connected to her and she has never made that type of dough.  Abella Danger, yes.  Lana would be lucky to approved for financing on a new Ford Mustang.

Did’t see it on her social media. James May from Top Gear mention it on his Drivetribe vlog.

I suspect the ladies will find a new platform to host their vids. I read two ladies posting about this already on their Twitter feeds.

Unfortunately I think you are right

I saw this on twitter when it was first happened. I get the sense most PS that used OF felt abandoned by OF when that announcement came to light (i thought I read that it may be a 3 way fight between PS vs OF vs  Mc/Visa) and that OF support is trying to do damage control. Since the initial shock is beginning to wear off, most PS are now offering their OF for free or reduced rates until they get kicked off in October to September while transitioning to other platforms like MV, just4fans, C4S, et al.

To OF, be careful to not bite the hand that feeds you.

The thing that will be interesting to observe as it plays out, is whether the democratized, independent porn creator model will work moving forward; regardless of platform. The reality is that OF's decision is based on the blocks that the platform has run into from investment and finance institutions. Well, that means that any other platform that attempts to take its place, will have the same problems but without the first mover financial foundation that OF was able to build before the finance institutions cracked down and the institutional investors started turning away. So it won't be as easy and simple for alternatives to rise up and sustain themselves as many sex workers and OF customers predict. There's the whole position of using crypto to circumvent the financing issue but what many seem to miss is that crypto tokens are not stable currency; I don't believe that the leaders will be for some time (not until government AND financial institutions ratify their legitimacy more broadly). So workers will be taking huge risk with crypto as you could sell something for the equivalent of 5 dollars on Tuesday and it's worth 2 dollars on Thursday, and then 5 again the next week. That's way too unstable to make a stable living on; the content producers would go crazy just trying to get a handle on that alone.

I see the entire market crashing personally. There will be an opp for the content creators to make SOME money moving forward with alternatives, but I think the days of $20k+ per month payouts for 90% of the creators that were seeing that kind of money, are done. Just my two cents.

I hope you are right. Maybe the rosters of the agencies will be impressive again.

Question is, what is OF’s endgame? There are many non-porn content creators on manyvids but not nearly enough  to make up for the loss of the smut. Those clean creators do not bring in a fraction of the traffic that the porn does. If OF is abolishing its money making offering (porn) I would assume there is a replacement, but what. People can watch cats play piano or the latest song cover for free on YouTube. What does OF see as being as profitable as the porn?? I mean even if you cant get additional investors, you can at least stand pat with what you have and if the credit card companies are tripping use PayPal (if Im not mistaken, thats what MV offers as an option.

Looks like OnlyFans has "delayed" its enforcement of this change based on the reasoning you're using here. Sex content accounts for 2/3rds  of its revenue so what does it matter if investors and payment platforms don't want to do business with you, if you have no revenue anyway, lol. On the payments front though, OF's block comes from the banks as well as payments companies like Amex and Investors, so PayPal wouldn't work either. I'm not really familiar with Manyvids but I would assume that the reason PayPal is an option is because the banks haven't taken the same notice of the platform because its scale is so much smaller (under the radar) and it has a higher percentage of non-sex related content; that would be my guess.

Well, OFans completely reversed their decision.  And so continues the inflation of sexuality.
