I agree.  You were clearly good looking enough to succeed as an escort so I'm sure you don't have any reason to be insecure.  He can screw a porn star any time he wants.  Maybe he likes something different in his private life.  You'd be kind of like a sorbet for him after the entree.  Personally, I love sorbet!

The key word is former.  We all have pasts, its just up to the other person to accept who that person is now and not hold their past against them.  If someone does, is that really someone you want to date anyways?

I have done things in my past, performing in porn is one of them as well, and if someone asks me about it I simply tell them "yes, its something I did, but its been a while ago now".  If they cant get over it, then how good would the relationship really be?

There's an old saying: you never know until you try.  If you don't do or say *something* you'll wonder forever.  So, what have you got to lose?

From a guy's perspective: I'd say that I've dated (non escort dating that is) several women who others thought weren't "attractive" by their standards.  I also dated a woman for 7 years who told me that she didn't think I was physically attractive but we had similar interests, complementary personalities and got along very well.  Each person has their own definition of beauty, hence the expression "beauty is in the eye of the beholder".  If your interests mesh, and your personalities mesh, then what does physical appearance matter?

There are many men who would be delighted to have a porn star show interest in them, even if it's a former porn star.  And there are many men who would be repulsed by the idea of dating a porn star or an escort.  You'll never know which category this guy is in until you ask.

The bottom line is give it a try.  What's the worst that can happen?

Well I am not saying that I am horrible looking, LOL, I'm just don't have the porn star look, I'm more of the girl next type, and I look like kind of a cross between Audrey Hepburn and Audrey Tautou. I think a lot of my clients liked the girl next door/college coed look, that's what drew them to me.

I don't know about other guys, but I prefer "real" woman - that is, no fake eyelashes, no fake boobs, no fake whatever... "average" girls, "girl next door", etc, turn me on a lot more, especially if they have a good personality to go along with it.  And, frankly, some of my better experiences have been with "girl next door" types...
