why would a hobbyist want to pay inflated dollars for a "porn star" who doesn't have name recognition and has probably had unsafe sex when there are SO many fine ladies in SD who can give you a true GFE at a price that can you allow to come back for more? Jenna Jamesom or whatever her name is ....maybe.....but they aren't really stars. At least to the what I see in a lot of the hobbyist....
Some porn stars charge a fairly average rate. I think you just have to try to book an appointment through the girl herself if you can. But really, a girl can charge whatever she wants to charge. I've seen non porn star providers charging $1000 or more an hour.
Also, we are tested for STD's before a shoot...so I wouldn't call that unsafe sex. I also highly doubt porn star providers are going around seeing clients bbfs.

i have seen numerous porn stars..all of their rates vary..you basically are paying for he privilege to be with them..well-known porn stars charge a much higher rate..others charge lower rates even though they know they could get more..some do not escort a all..some travel extensively to see their 'fans'..as for anyone who is paying 'inflated' dollars..they really do not care..they want to see her..it is a dream come true..money doesnt matter..they want to be with her..no matter what they charge they are always booked solid..that tells me they dont think like you..if you want something bad enough..you will find a way to get it..
Sometimes it's a "bucket list" thing.
During my first stint in the hobby I saw several of these ladies and they were a blast. I also saw a few ladies that could have easily been a porn star and one actually went into business afterwards. I paid a little extra but nothing crazy. I chose not to see my all time favorites like Nina Hartley and others because I did not want to pay the $1,000's an hour to do so. I don't need to pay to live out a fantasy like that.
Today, it seems like EVERYONE is a porn star, former porn star, etc. seems if you have a sex tape your a porn star. I would play with one if she fit my criteria regardless of profession. As to safety, they are safer than most... Porn stars are the only ones willing to show me their medical reports...

Like you said, it seems like any girl that has even one scene on some website will bill herself as a 'pornstar'. My thought is a true pornstar is someone that has done movies, whether on tape or dvd, and has done a lot, not just one or two scenes on the internet, no need to name names here, we all know who the real stars are. Remember, that's my opinion, and might not agree with everyone else's definition of a pornstar.

Im going on a hunch but it wouldnt surprise me if some guys see PS as living out a fantasy of theirs. I mean how many people can say they played w/a PS (that they werent shooting a scene with).
