More cash flow. I believe her insurance will cover the procedure, but she will be unable to work during the post-op recovery period. Four to six weeks I think.

Nina is a fantastic lady who literally saved my life five years ago. Needless to say I have already contributed, and will probably do so again before she goes in for the procedure.

So many people have been hit hard by the recession and Nina is one of those people.  She will need at least 4 weeks after her surgery and she will need financial help to get by during that time that she is not working.

just reading about her aliment and came across this website www.fibroids.com lots of information and seems like there's one interesting procedure (UAE) that doesn't necessarily take 4 weeks to recuperate since it's not as invasive as a hysterectomy.

Nina is a very classy lady.  Never had a session with her, but I did take her Learning Annex class, and it was both educational and entertaining.  Nina is a much needed "ambassador" for the sex industry.  She is herself a Registered Nurse, so she approaches her subject from the viewpoint of medicine and physiology in addition to the perspective of porn and prostitution.  It was fascinating to listen to her explain not only the technical aspects of camera angles and lighting but also the parts of the human anatomy that had the most nerve endings, and thus were the greatest potential pleasure centers.

I sincerely hope that Nina recovers quickly and completely.

moreover, she must have quite a lifestyle to require 20 thousand dollars for 2-4 weeks.  i hope i'm wrong but this smells like someone taking serious advantage of the kindness of her fans.

Your perception of how much we make in this business is greatly skewed.  No she hasn't made millions over her career, hardly any performer has other than Jenna Jamison.

I won't make a comment in regards to judging Nina, but she has been at the forefront of the Adult Video business for over 20 years and is one of the most famous actresses to ever grace the screen. While "our" impressions of what kind of the money the ladies make might be a bit skewed, she's an enterprising woman, always has been, and one can't help but wonder what kind of money she's made and yet finds herself in this predicament.
Best wishes for a speedy recovery to her.
