Presuming that one got tested at a reputable testing agency and was able to produce a clean bill of health, what are the general views on seeing providers BB? I mean, would it be unreasonable to ask this of a lady upon meeting? Is this something that is best discussed prior to booking?

my best answer is that this is something you should not consider either discussing or performing at all, at least not in this hobby situation.
BB is something that happens rather regularly in this hobby and IMO, it's not the safest practice.
For example, even if both people are tested and bring the paperwork to the session, it's not a sealed deal that both, hobbyist and provider are clean. What if one contracted something before testing and the test was not able to pick up on it? What if the paperwork is a week or two old and something had been contracted within those couple of weeks? I'm not just talking about HIV either, there are a host of nasty things you can pick up and bring home with you.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not condemning the people who do practice this, I just think there are two many holes for it to be as safe as some on here believe it to be.
Leave. Find a civvie girlfriend. Get both yourselves tested. Have monogamous sex. Do not, repeat DO NOT come back here until you completely understand how to use protection and are committed to doing so.
regarding what you are inquiring about, ANY type of "special" request should be discussed and agreed on in advance. Whether it be greek, CIM, golden showers, anything out of the "ordinary" should be known to both of you in advance.
You don't want to be showing up and then start asking her to do things that she refuses to do or may be very uncomfortable with or trying to figure out what you are going to be doing. Seems like that could be a very awkward moment for both of you

I have no issue with anyone who wants to go BB - more power to 'em. But, keep in mind, that you're still playing a form of Russian Roulette when you do. Yeah, you can lower the odds, but you're still taking a chance. It's your money and your well-being and no one else's business. Would I go BB personally? Nope, but that's my choice. As going BB is yours.

I should have framed my question more tactfully - for which I apologize. I was asking what the likelihood of that happening, that's all. It was more an analytic question than anything else. I didn't mean to kick a hornet's nest of any kind!
BB is done between porn stars. Porn stars are no more disease free than hobbyists. BB with any provider becomes rapidly high risk after they do it a few times. It's not just HIV, which is much more rare than other STDs. There are other things, like HPV (which caused actor Michael Douglas' throat cancer, which he now disputes and possibly actress Farrah Fawcett's anal cancer), hepatitis, etc. A sad fact of life.

Ok people, enough already....BB happens in this hobby ALL THE FUCKING TIME...Pun Intended. Some here are more outspoken about it than others....GREAT!!! If a hobbyist wants to take this aspect of the hobby on, and is willing to go the extra mile and get tested RIGHT BEFORE said appts, NO DIFFERENT than Adult Industry Professionals do, then this is the SAFEST possible way to do it.
Sure, keeping covered is definitely safer, but that is NOT the topic here. I have performed in Porn before, not ashamed to say it....did I perform BB, YEP....Was I tested days before, and were the ladies I shot with, YEP.....point being made, if your going to do BB, get tested, make sure your partner is tested, and thats about the safest way you can do BB.....Personally, I have felt more comfortable doing BB with a Porn girl than someone I have met in my civvy life (been a long time since I have done BB there btw, always covered) for the first time.
If you have trouble with the concept that this happens, get a new hobby....if you just simply want to state your opinion without going nuclear on why YOUR opinion is the only way to go, than state it...if not, bring it to the Political board and air it out.
To the OP...if this is what you seek, it should ALWAYS be discussed up front, and you should look up the places that the lady is comfortable with for testing, Talent Testing or Cutting Edge are the 2 industry places...some have their own personal preference, so ask the lady.
