I agree about the attack, but wanted to point out that Sly is no longer a moderator.
Kathy is wrong about the order of attacks. The guy made a light-hearted comment -- that has some truth to it -- and she attacked him. In turn, he attacked her back.
But all he said in his original post was that the difference between a $200 and $100 fuck is $100. Now, apply that to the porn star world. A porn star's rate is $1,500 through an agency, but books direct for $1,000. And, the guy receives the same intensity in the session.
I see no reason to attack the guy for making his light-hearted comment/observation.

Actually, you did much more than point out who he sees. But I don't want to get into a pissing match about that. I just wish board members -- women and men -- showed more mutual respect and tolerance for one another.
I have defended ladies when they're being unfairly attacked. Many other guys do the same. Some of my strongest defenses on the porn star boards have been under an alias because my post contained personal information about myself that I didn't want to be attached to my handle for privacy reasons.

I think you have every right to post the 300 club and think that many on here appeciate your efforts. I might find it useful myself, but sadly I live nowhere near a hotspot for pornstar providers so I have no use for it.
But I also think that Kathy is warranted in her criticism of the whole "bargain" concept. And she has a right to hold any opinion, whatever that may be, on TS providers. If they are exempt from criticism then that means that they are protected because of their status which is not right.

I will agree with her that a PS provider who charges less (300) might not be as willing to give you what a (800-1000) PS provider would. But you would have your exceptions on both sides of the spectrum.
Now I will be the first to say that many non-PS providers provide a killer experiance for 300, and often if you look hard enough they can be just as hot as any pornstar physically. I also agree that Kathy might attack your concept of the 300 club a bit more than she should as she has made her opinion clear in the past.

I don't see anything wrong w/ his response. I took it as a light-hearted analogy based on how he views things, which is his opinion. I can't see ANY way how it could be viewed as an "attack" on anyone. My interpretation of Kathy's response is that because he see's TS's he should only ever post on the TS board. That's like saying that the porn stars should only post on the PS board. Personally I think it is a negative that anyone's heartfelt thoughts and ideas should be censored. Guess it is good until your ideas are subject to the same treatment.
Personally I feel that the history of this site's boards, its usual non-censorship (I know some will disagree but compared to other boards,non-hobbyist boards i.e. political boards, i feel this board is very pro-free speech) is quite impressive indeed, I would hope things stay much the same in the future.
But TER is also an economic entity and I understand that it has an interest in not offending its patrons.
It's kind of a no win situation for them at times I guess.
1. I am no longer the moderator on this board. I resigned that position about 2 months ago. So I'm just a regular member now.
2. I never really defended Kathy, but rather corrected an incorrect statement by another member. Kramden13 made his original post, Kathy made the TS comment, and another member (not sure at this time, since it's no longer there) called out Kathy for insinuating that Kramden13 would be interested in TS. All I did was point out that all that member needed to do was look at Kramden13's reviews to see that Kathy was accurate in her statement. Check them out for yourself at the link below. I never defended Kathy nor did I make any judgement about Kramden13's preferences.
3. Kathy doesn't need me to defend her, as we've all seen that she can do that very well for herself! (lol) Kathy and I have had disagreements on the board in the past, however we've also had the pleasure of spending some great erotic time together. So whenever she disagrees with me, I just bring the vision of her gorgeous body on top of me, under me, on the side of me, etc. I also think of what a truly sweet woman she is to spend time with, and how we've giggled together for hours. Unfortunately, any point you tried to make was lost in the name calling. Since the issue of fox (faux) news was brought up, I thought it needed to be responded to. It is so interesting (especially right now in society) but a vocal amount of liberals claim to fight for free speech but god forbid if you say something you disagree with and then shut them up, throw label bombs at them (i.e. Governor Palin), jail them, kill them. It stands to reason, when you cannot win an argument on the basis of it's merits then by all means call names and call for censorship.
Fight for all people's right to share their views (especially if you disagree) or are intolerant one.

In truth, I most likely will not be plunking down $2500 for a session but that said, the 300 club has had this ring that maybe if enough pressure is put on some woman they will drop their price.
