First of all, on my cell phone I have to associate a number with a name in order for the person's name to show up when they call.

Second, if she's calling his home phone, that may be different but there's no way for her to disassociate her name from her number on caller I.D.

Third, the simple thing to do would be to simply block her phone's number from being sent when she calls him.

Actually, he wanted her to remove the custom greeting made in her own voice ("Hi this is Betty...") and therefore let her VM system's generic voice say "5-0-5-5-5-5-1-2-3-4".  That way when Tiger's wife called the number (presumably found on his cellphone log or bill) she wouldn't be able to ID the person who Tiger had called.

To be honest a lot of guys don't even know this world exists.  My problem with Tiger is that for his money he should have know about the underground call-girl world.  I have a friend I went to college with that played professional ball and he and his friends had the most underground shit I ever heard...they were getting blowjobs just for appearing in sports magazines and he would tell me that he would not even make the arrangements himself some other guy would do it and he would take it form there.
