I know that they go after bittorrent users, but is pornhub the same thing?   I've heard that it is owned by the same company that owns brazzers and other content so it's not all copyrighted and they also take down videos that are copyrighted-  I've never seen anything about whether or not pornhub or like sites are legal

IANAL but I believe that the case will be appealed and almost certainly be overturned.  The biggest clue to this dumb decision being overturned is in the sentence:    

“No case has considered the issue presented here,” wrote Judge Helene White in the majority decision, “whether and under what circumstances a court can properly protect a party’s anonymity after judgment.”  

That's absolute total nonsense and shows the judge is an idiot.  Courts have kept the anonymity of parties after judgement for decades, not only in copyright infringement cases but in cases involving rape, or those involving minors.  To say that, suddenly, the courts can't protect anonymity is absurd.  

If the rest of the ruling is written as well, the case will be overturned.
