The problem here is everyone keep on treating it like its coke vs pepsi or something like that. These are people. There rates are what they want them to be and there is no laws that come up with these rates. Sorry I just gotta vent because im sick of these why does this person charge this much. Because they want to. That should be all thats necessary. Just like why will you only pay so much for a certain person. Because you want to. I by no means pay the highest prices for girls, but I can certainly understand why some ask for it. Its not for any of us to really agree or disagree. When they come out with fuck robots and they are priced differently then we can complain until that time we need to stfu.

Girls and Agencies can charge what they wish.  It is up to you the consumer to vote with your pocket.  If we the hobbiests pay what some consider exhorbant rates, then the talent will continue to keep those rates, even in an enviroment where the per scene rate is currently $500-800 for those girls who can get work. If we stopped paying those $1000 plus per hour rates two things will happen:  Girls rates will come down, or they will stop providing.   Quit bitching about high prices and girls that charge two grand for a session that is one pop and cbj.  Do not patronize these ladies if you have an issue with their rates.  If you have no problem with this then continue to fork over your hard earned cash and rates will stay where they are.  Set your ceiling for what you think is fair and stick to it.

For the porn industry.. if the rate is 500 a scene, and the actress refuses, they can get another actress. I don't know if a big star in porn sells units like they used to. Since porn is the "source" and there's only one porn industry in the USA, they have to accept the rate or not work. Plus, everyone on the set can find everyone else rather easily if there's a problem with payment or anything else.

As for us (the hobbyist), there's a risk involved going one on one, there's travel and hotel involved, and if you throw in an agency that has to do the screening the cost goes up.

Would I pay $4G for one hour with Briana Banks? No. Why? Because I have no idea what I (me vs. anyone else) would be getting. Ultimately, if a provider charges X and she can't get X, then her price is too high, regardless of who she is.

Porn is legal, escorting is not... and she knows who she's going to be fucking on a porn shoot.

Whatever the reason, girls are shy they can't rep themselves, they can't negotiate, the indies do charge less than the "alleged" provider agencies.
Keep in mind these are not talent agencies, they wont book providers. the ones posting here are provider agency reps, doubling the fee of what the provider would charge if you met her in a supermarket in los angeles.

I agree what steakguy said, the various agencies add their cut on top of the ladies fee. If you must use an agency though, shop around. Most of the ladies work through multiple agencies and you might be surprised to see how much the rates can vary from one agency to another.

Bottom line. Stick to your guns guys and if the gals want to charge exorbitant rates and you can't afford it - plain and simple, move on to more affordable companions.

It's simple, I've said this before. If a gal doesn't mind the phone ringing that much and she doesn't want to work that much she'll keep her rates jacked up, If she wants to keep a steady flow she'll be reasonable with her rates. The smart ladies take a good look at the economy and they can read how good or bad things are and they adjust accordingly. It's the carnal stock market folks. It goes up and it goes down. Instead of bitching about how high some ladies prices are, do your research and you'll probably find what you're looking for. It might not be spot on what you are looking for, but you'll find something that works for your libido and wallet.

I'd even go with "most" girls may go for $500 if they're "comfortable" with you but there are some who have minimums above that who are highly unlikely to go below.  These girls are usually the bigger names, been in the industry a while and realize that if word gets out that they're available for a lower rate it can become very difficult to get much above that.  Kevin also introduces the variable of "being comfortable."  That can certainly affect things but that just doesn't happen, you're going to have to spend time, energy or money to get there.  More importantly, it's been my experience that this has to happen naturally.  If you try to force it, it won't happen!

I will simply suggest, maybe guys are not asking.  I ask.  The answer is usually yes.  They are not offended by a 500 offer.

But, again, who has the time to get comfortable.  If you really wanna see someone, pay the agency rate.  Then get their direct contact info once they know you.

I actually have a bit more information on this subject than I am willing to state publicly.  YOu can believe me or disbelieve me.  It's all good.  But I submit to you that with the exception of, oh, perhaps 30 girls, they will take 500 for a direct contact date.  Believe it.  Disbelieve it.  

Many, many, many guys are afraid to ask.  The see an agency list them at 1800 and figure, well, that answers that.
