Porn Stars

question kind of related to the recent HIV positive result

I always wondered about this but thought now might be an appropriate time to ask about it.  Does anyone know how often pornstars retire because of sexually transmitted diseases, not necessarily HIV, but anything that would show up on their required testing.  I'm not looking for quantitative data just anecdotal information (i.e almost never, rarely, more than you'd think...etc)

Granted I don't see this a lot, but I think about this question whenever I see a pornstar who has retired rather early in their career but still provide either publicly or UTR.

Isn't there a high turnover rate for female pornstars? I hear the average length of career for female pornstars is like only 2-3 years. This is just my opinion but I think many choose to quit because they don't make it famous enough, get burnt out, or shot themselves out and don't get book for jobs often enough. I'm no expert  but I would assume only HIV and Hepatitis C would stop a male or female performer from being able to have straight sex in the industry. All other STDs cannot necessarily be cured but it can be controlled or subside breakouts with medicine. I don't think they have some secret contagious disease they are hiding but I could be wrong.
