Since the new way of doing things here on TER has started, for those who are moderated, in general how long is it taking to get your messages approved and up on the board???
sometimes it takes 10min other times up to 24 hours. I notice it depends by the time you post..If I post late night it will not go up till morning while if I post during the day it takes less time.
My original posts go right up as I'm unmoded but if I edit them then it seems that the mod system kicks in and it can take a bit. Does seem to be time sensitive as to when it hits the mod system.
I understand why this is done since people on some of the boards used to delete the contents of their posts after there were several replies.
However, I tended to throw posts up and then do a final proof read to get rid of the remaining punctuation and spelling errors. Since I tend to post in the wee small hours of the night I have sometimes had to wait HOURS to see the results.
I'm learning to proof more carefully before I make the post.
Mine go up instantly now, though I've noticed recently it puts up 2 messages, my reply and an exact duplicate, and then randomly deletes the duplicate.
