I am wondering what the average income of someone after the PSE is. With high pornstar rates, I would imagine that the average hobbyist is pulling in over $100,000 a year. Or better put, what is the average income of the hobbyist who frequents this board? Although it is somewhat personal, a good way of polling would be to list your income in ranges: less than 100K, 100K-250K, greater than 250K.
I agree that this poll does no good. And means nothing. Everyone's situation is different. Someone may only make $50k, but have more freedom financially. And someone who makes $250k may not be so free with their money. So it really depends on you. Each indivual has to decide for themselves if they can afford it and if it is worth it to them. I doubt anyone here wants to put themselves in an income category for everyone to know.
...I don't make that much, but my house is fully paid for, as is my car. I don't have an SO or any kids, and I'm financially conservative enough to be able to afford a PSE fairly regularly.
Lots of us make under $100K. It's about how you manage your income.
How much disposable monthly income does the average hobbyist have on this board? And perhaps an even better question would be how much does the average hobbyist spend each month on hobbying?
