Other than the weather it sounds like you are having a great trip to NYC. So you are a steaklover?  When I travel to NYC I try to get to Smith and Wollensky's at 49th & 3rd in the Midtown East area. Highly rated and well established. Next door they now have Wollensky's Grill, which I have read is another good choice.  Web link below.

Yikes!  Sounds like Minnesota a couple weeks ago.  I watched the extended forecast on Sunday night, and every day was in the 90s.  Then this week started off the same, except it was in the 100s the first two days.  Thankfully, we had rain on Tuesday night, and Wednesday and today have been quite a bit cooler.  Have fn!
