She died of a suspected drug overdose a little over a week ago.

I just can't work up sympathy for druggie overdoses.  They knew the risks way back when they first started.

You never know when something you're taking has been cut with it and even a small amount is lethal. It's like playing Russian Roulette with no empty chamber.

I can.  I don't see why it is not sad that she died or sad that she made a bad choice.

More her leaving a small kid behind hearing his mom was who she was from others and the internet. And died doing drugs.  Glad my kids are adults so they already know most of the dumb shit I do.

And is only going to get much worse.  Dealers are now lacing pills with nitazenes, some of which are 10-100X more potent than fentanyl.  Lots of under and unemployed Chinese pharmaceutical chemists ploughing through the academic literature looking for novel, highly potent opiates.  Give the Chinese a blueprint and they will make a lot of it and cheaply.

Elegant statement from the man, if we are to believe Sean Hannity, coined the phrase that Nancy Reagan popularized - "Just say no".  Of course, Lester is parroting the same position of the Chinese suppliers and Mexican cartels.  "Don't blame us for poisoning and killing your youth and middle age folks - they know the risks and we are just meeting a market niche".  Maybe, Amara started with legal opiates after an accident or got hooked because a physician made a shitload of money writing opiate prescriptions.  But, of course, it is her fault.  SMH
