Hello gents! I have been doing this for a long time and have seen a few pornstars in my day that traveled through Atlanta (Nancy Vee, Stevie, Blake Mitchell) but got away from seeing them when my experiences didn't live up to the level that the providers if Atlanta were able to offer for half to a third of the price.  So, in saying that, I want to dive back into the PS idea and just want some recommendations on the best way.  So, a few basic questions:

1) Do you or should you use an agency?
2) Do there sessions ever come close to the idea in our heads?
3) Is it worth the $$$ based on 1 hr with a PS can get you 2 hrs with a great lady?
4) Any advice would help.....

Thanks again fellas.... if you read any of my reviews, you will see that I love a good PSE session, but I would like to find a PS to match the session.

That said, as a hobbyist who is clearly well acquainted with this site (based on your review history) the answers to your questions, especially the last one, are things you probably already know: stick with girls with plenty of good reviews (Nikita Denise, Claire Dames, Ashley Shye, Kiera King, Trinity St. Clair and Sasha Knox jumped out at me as girls I've seen from my cursory search of porn stars in LA whose average ratings are 8 or above), be a gentlemen when interacting with them and trust your instincts.  As to your specific questions:

1) I try to avoid agencies for the obvious reason that it involves one less person in the financial food chain but also because its been my experience you can get a bit of feel for the girl through direct interaction.  That said, it maybe that there's someone that you're dying to see who is only represented by an agency so you have little choice.  There is an argument that it is safer as well but quite frankly, one of the reasons I like seeing porn chix whose work I'm familiar with is that when Ashley Shye opens the door, I'm pretty sure she's no LE.

2) Abso-fucking-lutely.  Some of the genuine highlights of my existence has been time spent with these some girls, especially all of those mentioned above.  I've never had anything less than a great time with them and if you catch someone like Nikita, Claire or Ashley on a day when the right pheromones are flowing, the phrase "other worldly" jumps into my mind.

3) This is where the YMMV thing really comes into play and ya buys yer ticket, ya takes yer chances.  It depends, I guess, on how into the girl you are and how much she lives up to your expectations.  That is probably some of the problem in this arena, one's expectations can be pretty high depending on how familiar you are with someone's videos so you can be setting yourself up to be disappointed.  That said, more often than not, my expectations have either been met or exceeded. (Check out my post on 3-19-14 regarding recreating favorite scenes, every one of those experiences completely outstripped my rather high expectations).  

My bottom line is that I don't regret a single encounter I've had here.  Of course, it probably gets back to the old Woody Allen joke, "my worst orgasm was right on the money," but that said, even the lesser experiences (Mia Bangg, Trina Michaels & Georgia Peach leap to mind) were still fun and worthwhile.    My advice: go for it!

First, welcome. Hope you have fun. Second, if you could throw out some names of who you'd like to see. No lack of options browsing the sites of TLC, MPP, Pam Peaks, etc. Never used an agency for a PSE, one for non-PS providers, but not deliberately, just how it turned out. Every once in awhile I see a PS available only on a site, but by the time I've socked away the cash, either they're gone or I rethink spending that much money all at once without that sure thing vibe. The most I ever spent was about $3k for a few stellar hours with Ava Devine (it was a while back), definitely well worth it if anal and all- around nasty is your thing. Great personality to boot. I've always dreaded a PS visit where I was, "keep the money and get me outta here." Happened with occasional regular provider from time to time, but then the investment was less. I think eventually, one day, I'll be dialing up an agency for a fav I'm just dying to see, financial restraint be damned.
So who are you dying to see? It's times like this that I thank God (don't strike me down Lord) for TER and the reviews, if not for specific info, then for general guidance.

that, my friends, is about the best summary I have ever seen on here about this topic. I have seen 3 PS/adult model girls in my time of hobbying, which, has only been a couple years. The 3 experiences covered the gamut, from f**king amazing to 'meh.' So many variables to consider - right place, right time, right chemistry. If you can afford it, and your own research back it up, a PS is in most cases a pretty good gamble, IMO.

I've been around the block a few times and will try to give some answers:

1.  I've not always used an agency - there have been times when talking directly to the person has been more beneficial.  On the other hand, I had already established something of a reputation as a "good guy" and could use other porn stars as references by then.  Since you've seen a few porn stars, that might help you but if you're not well known, you might be better off going through an agency.

     Going through an agency has certain advantages.  First of all, the ps you choose is less likely to flake on you or steal your money.  If you search this board, you'll see complaints from others this has happened to in the past.  Also, an agency will do all the vetting so when the ps shows up at your door (or you to hers), everything will be all settled and she'll feel safer.  Establishing a good reputation with a good agency can get you to UTRs that might otherwise not be available to you.

      I tend to work with TLC - I've found Adonia to be really helpful, and she's steered me away from women who I might not get along with so I've not had a bad time with anyone Adonia has set me up with.

2.  Sometimes the sessions are fantastic, sometimes they are not.  I remember seeing one of my all-time favorite porn stars and having one of the worst experiences I've had in the hobby.  It all depends on chemistry and how she feels.  If she's hung over from partying the night before, or doing drugs, you might not have a good time (going through an agency can help to prevent situations like this).  If she's not attracted at all to you, or repulsed by your looks, you won't have a good time either.  It happens.  In reality, going on a date with a "porn star" is no different than going on a date with any other woman - sometimes there's just no attraction and it's no one's fault.  Sometimes two people just don't connect.

3. That's a matter of choice.  There are a lot of porn stars I've seen because I've seen their movies and I wanted to do those things with them.  Other times, I just might meet some PS who looks so incredibly hot, that I've just got to do her.  Again, in reality, these are woman - they are no different or no better than any other woman (escort or not).  They just have different experiences and a different lifestyle, and can bring something to the table (their fame) that others can't.  I was at a swing party when someone had a movie running and there was one of the women I'd seen through the hobby - bragging about banging her got me laid.  Would I have gotten laid otherwise?  Who knows.   So it really comes down to how much you think it's worth to you to pay the big bucks.
