Many top photographers will be interested in you, and you in them, and you can barter to get a great portfolio built up by truly talented people.

That is a low impact start.  I know a girl who literally just got a gig off there this morning.

As KevinRoby mentioned about building up a portfolio. in the photo world its called TFP (trade for portfolio) The photographer takes your shots - he gets something for his book (portfolio) and you get something for your book (portfolio) it's a win / win situation for beginners.

Beyond that, if you've got a hot book, get yourself with a good booking agency (I'm sure there are porn modeling agencies in the San Fernando Valley that can gear you just for print. But I have to say, in porn, print is a dying media, you're more likely to find work doing print for web. (banners, email blasts)
