Ladies? any input for us?

Had a co-worker who had some serious laser stuff done years ago (even his face!).  It seemed like it cost a buttload, took forever, and he had these rash-like breakouts while undergoing the treatment.

I, too, would LOVE to hear the ladies thoughts on this....

BTW, to tie my original post back to this particular board, I have an appointment with a PSE on Friday, and I want to be silky smooth, clean and fresh fresh when I see her!

I would appreciate any input on "man-scaping"!  I recently started to pay more attention to these issues, and, as it turns out, my chest is as hairy as a freakin' grizzly bear!

I've tried what is effectively a electric razor (sucked - left too much stubble); I've tried a Nair-type product (almost burning off a damn nipple!); and I've been old-fashioned shaving (razor, shave gel).

The problem is, shaving only lasts for about a day (seriously, it grows faster than my beard!), and it irritates to some extent.

Anybody tried waxing?  Looks DAMN painful to me, and I have no idea how much it costs.

Any other suggestions (products, etc.) would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance!

I had waxing done for the first time recently and it is painful. But unless you use that new 20 dollar thing I see in ads on TV, waxing is the only sure fire method for smooth skin. I suggest you do one section at a time. Your entire chest (or back) could take about 30 minutes.

But on the larger issue of body hair.. some women actually like it. Some think it's manly. I think it's just a case of keeping it under control and strategic. Growing wild all over your back, neck, etc. is probably too much. Shave under your arms and scrotum for sure. Here's the thing - Hairless doesn't look good on everyone, especially if you aren't in decent shape or just plain ol' "smooth" looking.

Just my two cents.

Did I read that right?

I'm all for a little manscaping, but that would be the last place I address.

I started shaving my scrotum and surrounding are's a few years now I get tremendous itching especially at night when I'm trying to sleep, I like it that way but the itching is making it tough to do.. anyone else with this problem,, any solutions??

Thanks but never again a 5 treatments I still have some hair and it hurt like hell!

sounds like a James Bond villain's idea of torture.  "Well Mr. Bond we're going to laser your balls off."

This could get complicated lol. Here's why I said what I said:

I knew a guy who had a string of hair hanging off his chin because he thought it was cool. No one else did. My point: it's a good idea to get some opinions from your target audience.

Why shave under your arms? Because there is (in my opinion) no reason aesthetically to have it. Having done it for years in my youth, I realized it was nothing more than an unecessary headache and a way to be "manly."

Why shave your balls? Because most women (not all) I've spoken too don't like getting hair in their mouth.

The rest I think is a matter of aesthetics and what looks good on you. We're like Samson with our hair. I know. But having less or keeping it neat can be a good idea for a few reasons. If it's there hiding a flabby stomach or bitch tits, maybe it's time to hit the gym.

Laser removal: I wouldn't try it because it can in some cases cause scarring.

Laser is definitely the way to go- probably can get a package of 4-5 treatments for about 1500 or so-  caveat- I did it twice- thinned out some-  quit before finishing b/c chest is more sensitive than some areas and was very painful for me- but lasers have continue to improve and aren't quite as bad as they used to be- you might want to just try one session-  worse than the pain though, was I forget the name for it (condition from ingrown hair I got after doing it-  painful for a couple weeks-  Not everybody gets it- so you might be OK- but I would only commit for 1 session to see if you can hanle it (back not as sensitive)-  face (women sometimes get and bikini are also)-
Lastly, if you have a lot of hair might not get completely hair free but will thin it out

I have maintained for years and avoid razor bumps and itching but using the right product for me. It took me some time to finally find what worked. I use the pre-shave oil, shave cream and after shave on my privates regularly. I do warn that you will need to keep up regular maintenance. Also only use the after shave if you are not going to see a lady that day, if you are then shave in the morning, apply and showered before the session. Make sure to apply plenty of soap and water to where you applied the after shave. I use a mach 3 turbo.
