It's amazing when you go into a hotel room and see the adult channel at $30 per movie..Yes the porn star made $1,000 (minus taxes so you now they are at $650), they are on the set for about 5-6 hours, whereas the producer takes that content and sells it and makes money sometimes years down the road..

I didn't have the inside information that you had but she seems level headed, been in the business a long time, makes great money. This seems fishy to me.

I'm in regular contact with a semi-active pornstar who was once one of Nina's closest friends before moving out of California.  I asked her about the fundraiser a month ago, which was the first she had heard of it.  She immediately phoned Nina and was able to confirm that it was as legitimate as Keisha had claimed it to be when she first posted the link to it on this board back in February.

Wow.  I hate to sound like an ass, but this does not seem like a "life threatening" issue to me.  Based upon the initial web page, I'll cite the following:

In reading this, it sounds to me like this is an operation of choice - not of need (by the way....how are they "unsighlty in her uterus"??  Who the heck sees that?).  Some people may want to contribute to that, but I'd rather hold it back for someone who is in a life or death situation.  If she chooses to have this operation, then she should choose to save up for it and not play the sympathy card to her fans.

Maybe I don't have the full story - or I'm missing something - or I'm a selfish asshole, but I'm not getting it.
