It's sad, really, when people just don't get it

I saw the post... I wasn't going to respond because, well, anyone with a clue knows that if you don't get a response from one method you try another method.  So, if you don't get a response to email, you call.  And I also knew that Adonia was quite capable of responding to people like this and didn't need my help.

But, I have to say, it's sad when someone just doesn't get it.  Obviously, from the comments made, this guy has some history with Adonia already.  So, what's the problem?  It seems like, as some put it, he just wants to waste her time.  Or maybe he's using her to argue pricing with other agencies.  Or maybe he's a plant from another agency just trying to hurt Adonia's business.

I don't know what the story is, really, but it seems TheHookUp just doesn't get it.  It's like recently I was in a car accident where the other guy was following too closely and driving without a license.  He kept saying I stopped suddenly so it was my fault.  The cop kept trying to explain to him that he was driving too closely, but he just didn't get it.  And when asked about not having a license, he said he knows how to drive and didn't want to waste the time taking the tests.  I've never seen a cop so shocked. He walked back over to me at my car, shacking his head and saying "He just doesn't get it".

Sometimes, no matter how many times you try to explain something to some people, they just don't get it.  I don't know why.  It just happens.

So, Mr. TheHookUp, in simple words: if you don't like the way Adonia conducts her business, go elsewhere.  Period.  Move on.  She certainly doesn't need your business.  And you are the loser for it, because, as many people here will testify, working with Adonia is generally a pleasure.  

But you probably still don't get it.

I'm no fool, you have a business, if a client asks a question, you answer it. At the end of the day, your depriving your talent with silly comments.

Let me clue you in here bud. If you constantly email any agency asking about a booking, but never book anyone they're going to put a label on you. That label is "time waster". When you get that label, they stop responding to your emails and other queries. This is because time is money and no one likes wasting money.  

Adonia is a good business woman. I am pretty sure this means she's going to pay attention the ones that bring in the cash and ignore the ones that are just wasting her time. It's common sense I know, but sometimes that isn't so common. If you Mr. HookUp are one of the ones that's wasting her time, expect to be ignored. The same goes with any agency.  

You kind of strike me as the type to always ask, but never (or rarely) pull the trigger. If that's the case, you've dug you own hole. Quit trying to badmouth others over your own shortcomings. If I am wrong I apologize, but I doubt I have anything to apologize for here.

you are wrong. i have booked trough PP and HUBH2 before, so i dont know what all the crap here is about.
at the end of the day its my $$, not yours and if i have a different flavor for the month then so be it, its my life.
