you can get a similar effect by just highlighting text with your mouse (like for copy-n-paste), which in this case renders light-blue text on striped white lines for me!


btw for anyone who cares (about typography, usability and web design), what i'm talking about is a well-known problem that causes fatigue, eye strain and user-irritation, and often leads to people leaving such web pages in droves, few mins after entry (and not just older folk either):

Bloomberg has a similar god-awful scheme (orange headline text on black blackground!) which apparently they still like and are sticking to (despite numerous complaints) but they had the good sense to at least make the articles be white-on-black

and needless to say ...

i like my typography color scheme like i like my interracial porn:  Black on White!  LOL

If you're using firefox you can do the same thing. Ctrl+ to increase the size of the type (and Ctrl- to decrease).

And I just found out on a Mac you can use the pinch to do the same thing, as well as the Cmd+ keys as you mentioned.
