No surprise after Measure B passed in last Nov's election..2 permits issued so far in 2013, normal year is over 500..
Who knows, maybe Las Vegas will be the new LA for the adult film industry...
I don't think its (Measure B) had any bearing on the testing centers, as i looked at CET's site and Twitter and all seems business as usual there...Hope so anyway, as i need to test there in a few weeks...
And I know for a fact that many of the girls at the Exxxotica convention this past weekend in Atlantic City were busy on Saturday shooting content either for movies or their websites.
The fact that permits have dropped yet testing hasn't only indicates to me that studios are shooting UTR in LA. Scenes are usually shot in a room that could be anywhere. How can anyone tell the difference? I don't know a single soul who voted yes on Measure B. I strongly suspect it was rigged and a purely political move intended to eradicate the industry. With mandatory testing, porn stars are likely very low-risk compared to other demographics in the city. And I now have an extremely low opinion of the AHF.
