I've noticed lately that photo links posted in messages seem to suddenly get broken after a short time and the photo disappears... what's the deal????

Many web servers now have software that can determine if a file (.jpg especially) is being accessed from outside it's realm (not an html document on it's server).  

After some number of those accesses - especially a large number (like those generated by us pervs...), it will automatically deny access to that file and/or move it.

Ah... that explains it... it seems that it's become very prevelent lately.  Pic's get posted, are up for a few days and then the links get broken.
