A few days ago a pornstar who I had hoped to schedule time with posted the following on her myspace page:

"Ive shot for several companies websites with several people. Im lucky to have not contracted herpes. I have had a lot of dick, and to only have tested positive twice just this year in my 3+ years of professional sex, and 7+ years personal turbo slutyness. I feel pretty damn good about that! Just for those that give a shit, I am very preventitive and see a doctor at least once every 3 weeks."

Maybe this is a stupid question, but better safe than sorry... Is she implying she's HIV positive?

You wouldn't test positive twice for HIV, it would be once and LIGHTS OUT, and you would not be a pornstar anymore. In fact the last HIV scare they had, they had to retrace the guy (in this case) films to test everyone that worked with that person. And that guy likely is not in the industry anymore.

Perhaps one of the other wonderful diseases? I heard one of them was going around again...Though like I tell most people, pornstars and high class escorts are safer than any civvie...belie dat'

I think she is saying that she has tested positive for herpes twice in her career. A herpes is not always visible, which is probably why she is stating the testing results this way.

Its probably clymidia or gonorrhea or BV which run ramp-id in the industry.

Out of curiosity, why is such an issue within the industry?

Are studios being lazed about testing requirements or is the talent not testing regularly?

Trust me when I say this for everyone to listen.  When a girl says she has tested positive only a couple of times in the industry through her testing, it simply involves Gonherria and Clamyida, which is as common as the cold in the industry.

It doesnt mean she tested for HIV or anything else.  Testing for HIV positive through AIM would shut down the entire industry.

There is nothing uncommon about a girl testing positive for G and C, which simply is cured in a couple of days with some pills or a shot, she has to wait a full week to retest and back to shooting again.

This is what this PS was referring to 99 percent sure

Yes, the industry does test for Chlymidia and Gonergeaha and HIV every month.
But once they catch it on one person who knows how many people that person worked with from the time they caught it till the time that person got tested. And then all of those people have it and they work and well its a vicious cycle.

Anyway, I hope this answered your question.

The problem is you don't know what these porn stars are doing the minute they finish their test..They could be at swing clubs, escorting, one night stands, being with a unfaithful spouse, etc..

I think they should test for G & C at least once a week! If I was in porn I would make it a rule not to see a lady who has a week old test to minimize the risk..

Every time I go on a party trip (where I usually have 4+ parties in 3-4 days) After these trips I have a dentist appointment scheduled.  Before each appointment and cleaning, the dentist gives me a prescription for Amoxicillin.  So I kill 2 birds with one stone.  I am preventing infections from my dental procedures and if I caught any bacteria infections from my parties.

It is legal.  Some people like myself get various infections when there gums are traumatized as they are in dental procedures.
