How do you paste or copy a jpeg pic in a TER post?

upload your pic to a host. Put the address below the post in the field "picture URL:"

Click on the URL of the pic's page and then post it below in the "picture url" space at the bottom.

Be careful though that it's not from a restricted or private site otherwise it might not go through. If you want to use an image hosting site there are plenty out there but I've used imagebam.com recently w/ no problems.  There's another one I've used I just can't think of the name.

Sites like freeones and such are usually safe bets, it's pay sites and such that might be tricky.

If the photo is on a page by itself and the url ends in .jpeg or .jpg, simply copy the url and paste it into picture url field at the bottom of your post.

However, if the photo is on a webpaage with other content and the url doesn't end with .jpg, then right-click on the photo, select "properties" and copy and paste the url address.

Keep in mind that TER only accepts jpeg or jpg formats.

Many websites do not allow "hot-linking" to photos on the website.  If you try, your post will contain the dreaded red X in place of the photo.

To circumvent this, open an account at imagecoast.com (it's free).  Right-click the photo you want to post and save it to your computer, then upload it to imagecoast.com and make the link to TER from there.
