Good article, but I believe that bust happened about 5-6 years ago.

Again tax money spent 4 Nothing, why can't the govt. put atleast 2 heads toghther and see what a win fall they could be making if they would regulate this bussiness ?? Oh thats right there two busy screwing everything else up.

Actually I sent that link to my own roommate and we had a good laugh about
it cause there are several components that are similiar to how i am:

2. but the main thing we laughed about is how he makes atleast half of what i make per month, and yet i am always borrowing money from him, I spend money on things he would never thing of spending it on, for instance i wanted to tour to other cities for appointments but i have no car so i rented one for the last 3 weeks and it cost me $800, which is a little less than the amount he makes per month, hahahaha , , anyway i found the article to be somewhat fictional but there was some funny truths intermixed

I'm not saying it isn't true, just that it seemed too "pat".  The obsessive showering, the drug use, the frivilous spending, all that was missing was that she was abused as a child.

While it may be based in fact, my gut feeling is that there was some "writer's embellishment" involved.  Just MHO.

That bust was in 1999 and I do not consider that to be RECENT!
