Jaclyn Case is a beautiful, young, sexy pornstar whom I had seen in Pennsylvania several times in the past.  Recently I tried to set up another appointment in PA but she was going to be in LA so we arranged to meet out there.    She subsequently told me she was short of funds and asked if I could advance her the money. After I wired her some money, she sent me another message telling me she couldn't wait for me to fuck her, that she had been thinking about it a lot, and that she wanted me to see her both in LA and in PA when we both returned to the East Coast.  I was happy to agree.  The following day I got yet another message from her.  She said she didn't mean to be a pest but could I also advance her the money for the second appointment.  I was leery of doing so, but we had always had a great time together and I really, really liked her so at her direction I deposited the balance of $3000 into her account.  When it came time for our appointment in LA, she didn;t show and she refused to answer any of my phone calls or text messages.  The same thing happened on my return East, no response to any attempted communication.  A month later, after repeated attempts to reach her, I got a one-line message:  "I'm free next Monday."  I was in LA, but I cut short my trip, and made a reservation where we could meet.  However, she still wasn't responding to my messages, and once again she failed to show and failed to notify me that she was not going to make it.  Afyer I complained to an agency she works for and they contacted her, she sent me a text wanting to know why I had contacted the agency when she had agreed to meet with me, ignoring the fact that she had $3,000 of my money, had broken 3 appointments, had never notified me in advance that she couldn't make it nor offered any apology (or any communication at all) after any of the broken appointments.  I ignored all that and asked to see her on Sunday of that week.  She said she was leaving for LA on Saturday.  I asked to meet on Friday, she said she was going to be in Vegas.  I suggested Thursday, she said she was going to be in Boston.  I said, okay, why don't you pick a date?  She said she was going on a vacation with her boyfriend but could see me in mid-July!  Mid-July would be a full three months since i had originally advanced her the money to see her in April.  I was inclined to agree to it, but then I realized there was no guarantee that she wouldn't do what she had done the last three times: break the appointment, fail to notify me, and remain incommunicado.  So I asked for my money back.  She got indignant and said she "doesn't give refunds." (As though she had given me something of value and I was returning it and wanting my money back, when in reality she hadn't given me anything at all.) I pointed out that I had only given her money in advance as a favor to her and now I just wanted my money back.  She told me that I had no right to demand anything from her, that she had offered me a "fair choice," and that I could meet with her when she was free or not at all.  Then she told me not to contact her any more.  When I complained about her behavior to the agency she works for she sent me a text message threatening to call the police, my work and my family.

She's crazy! The very reason I stopped working with her. Beware of her!!!!

There are some on this board who say "never give a deposit"... I'm not one of them, but I will say "Don't give a deposit to any provider who doesn't have a track record for meeting her obligations".  There are many PSEs who ask for a deposit who have proven themselves to be reliable in making their appointed dates, or if circumstances prevent them, will refund the deposit promptly.

But NEVER, NEVER pay for a meeting in full in advance.  It's not reasonable for a girl to ask, and it's sheer stupidity (sorry guy) for a client to comply.

Furthermore, save the email from the agency.  Depending on your situation, you may even want to let them know that unless they or Jaclyn makes good on refunding your money, YOU'LL be the one calling the police to file a charge of theft, blackmail and/or threats.  

Despite their email, what could they "call the police" about?  And they have nothing to gain and everything to lose by calling your work or family.  Once they've "outed" you to either your work or family, you then have nothing to lose by contacting the police to file charges.

I sincerely hope you get your money back and are able to say to her in the same breath, "My dear Madame Barnum, I resign as clown."

There's always been a disagreement on wether or not to give deposits - and this is exactly the reason why many hobbyist hesitate to do so.  I for one have no problem providing deposits, as long as it's for part of the fee and not the entire fee - and I always check their track record via other reputable hobbyists on the board.

When I first started getting into this PSE thing a few months ago, I reached out to Fit regarding deposits and he reafirmed who were legitiamte ladies that I could wire money to and who were not.

In any event, I'm sorry this happened to you and can udnerstand how if you knew the lady already, and had some level of relationship with her, you felt lik doing her a favor and sending her the money.

But, we all learn somehow.  So there you go, don't do this shit again and as far as the police and that crap - if I were you, I would keep quiet, not call the agency or LE, and foget about the money - your name, reputation, family, work is not worth the hassle for $3k.

I know it was stupid of me to give her an advance (and thanks to one of you for calling me a clown for having done so; that was helpful!), but I had known her for over a year, I considered her more or less a friend, and as I said, I had never had a problem with her.  I had no reason not to trust her, we got along really well, and she had never asked me for an advance before.  The total unreliability was something completely new. (Someone she works for who has lately seen her pull the same set-an-appointment-break-it-and-don't return-messages routine believes its related somehow to her new boyfriend.)  I don't take the threat to call the police etc seriously, but the fact that she would even make such a threat is very troubling.

Unfortunately you got "screwed", but not the kind thats enjoyable.  I have to agree with some of the other posters...she didnt have a reliable track record so giving her the upfront fee for two appointments, no less, was a big mistake.  Whether you want to pursue it with her agency and the LE people is up to you...I think you will not likely see the money again and run the risk of greater exposure to yourself than you might want.  You could consider writing a rip off review and explaining it to the TER staff for posting...that way other hobbyists would be likely not to see her...and then if she returns the money you could have TER take down that review...just a thought!

Jaclyn must be very stupid to take someone's money (twice) and then not follow through with the meetings. Is the loss of reputation and business following this bad publicity really worth it for $3k?

I really hope you get your money back pacificheat. Personally I would not have paid everything up front, but as you say, you've met Jaclyn previously and built a rapport.

The only times I've made deposits in advance was when booking thru Sinnamon Love, and there was never a problem.

Generally I'm not an advocate for deposits in advance if you've got a track record of reliability and can cite references.

Might as well know the other side of the story. I do not know "pacificheat" not seen anything from him before, but I do know Jaclyn.

Jaclyn has never been anything but 100% terrific to me. She said that there was a guy out there stalking her-even went to her house-and saying that she owed him money that she never took from him. She said it was because she did not want to see him again.

I do not know what really happened here at all, I am just suggesting there are twqo sides to every story and that Jaclyn is not a cheat to everyone.

There are no sure things when dealing with a lady. I have all the confidence in the world that your expereinces have been positive. Is it possible Jaclyn could have done this? ABSOFUCKINGLUTELY!!!

If she didn't do it then her conscious should be clear and this will die down and it will be business as usual. If not she will have some "splaining to do Lucy".

Mishaps in this hobby are occupational hazards. Even when we feel we have done our best in terms of research, checking in with fellow hobbyists you can still get burned.

There are only a couple of ladies I would make deposits to personally. I don't normally make a habit of advancing money to strangers in my perosnal life so I don't think I am too apt to do it here. Agian he felt the relationship warranted the trust and I can't blame him for that. Every once in awhile you have to trust someone.

I hope that this can work itself out. If not, lesson learned and i'm sure pacifheat will still be able to enjoy the hobby.

She's pretty hot, but based on this story, and what ever the 2 sides are, she seems unrealiable.  I can understand the first deposit paid, but the second is a bit much.

Can you work with your bank to reverse the payment?  You bank might be able to offer advice on getting the money back.

I'm sure she happily already spent the money on her trips to Vegas, and the vacation with her boyfriend though.

I'm ok w/sending deposits (as I have w/Demi), as she is reputable..And I've sent deposits in the past w/some others as well (Shay Sights, Sarah Blake, etc.)...I also agree w/Eddie's post above, in that I'd NEVER pay a session in full beforehand, that's nuts...

Now you've said she's never been anything but fair to you, but we have another poster that has said she stole money from him and we have Demi saying she's crazy and she won't do business with her.

So given the evidence before us it seems likely that even if she isn't a complete cheat to everyone, her personality lends itself to corrupt behavior to such a degree that it's unwise to do business with her as you can never be entirely certain that you won't be the guy she decides to cheat next.

Here is the place and now is the time to put your point of view across in your own defense...personally if you remain silent that speaks volumes to me and the other members of this board.

Sorry for your loss, I hope you get your money back.  In a perfect world, as a result of what happened to you, no one would see her anymore but that is unlikely.  She is hot, I would consider seeing her if I didn't know all this; too many honorable providers out there to screw around with people like her.

If she told you never to contact her again, I don't see how you could schedule with her, so she is obviously not planning to repay you or honor her commmittment.

So I suppose it depends on how much heat you are willing to take to get your money back.  You might end up winning the battle but losing the war on this one.  I am not a lawyer but it sounds to me like you made her a loan with the expectation of some form of repayment which you might be able to take to court.  Might be interesting enough that Court TV or Judge Judy might want to try it.  LOL, sorry
I have been lucky enough with the women I see not to have had to make a deposit in advance other than airfare when someone flies in and if I book the ticket, then I get their real name which is just one more bit of info I have if there turns out to be a problem.  Airfare in most cases is less than 20% of the total cost so I don't consider that an issue to advance.
The last woman I brought in asked for entire amount advanced to her account in advance, I said no, I won't pay you until I see you in front of me and she never mentioned it again.  I don't really see the need to put a deposit on a one or 2 hour appt, and I wouldn't want to be with someone longer than that unless I had already seen them and I would expect them to know by then, I was gooe for it and not expect a deposit, but that is just me hopefully I select providers that think like me.

You're incorrect... she DID steal from him.  He "freely" gave her the money in good faith with the expectation that she would fulfill her part of the bargain.  If you gave a contactor money to build an addition to your house, either a deposit or payment in full, and he never showed up and never started the construction, then he stole your money, plain and simple.  You'd have every right to sue for either the completion of the job contacted for or a complete refund of the initial money given.

Now let's face it. MOST of the porn stars I have met are crazy. It is a crazy way of life, job, etc. So, in my mind, Demi saying JC is crazy means she is just like most porn stars. Saying she is a cheat is another thing. I agree with all here and would never give an advance deposit to someone I was booking directly-JC included. It is about setting up the right incentives like any employer-employee relationship.

Keep an open mind here guys and let's see what else pacificheat contributes to the board over time. Is this a one-off jilted client rant? Or, a guy that actually got ripped off and will talk about good and bad experiences in the future? Time will tell.

First off, it goes without saying that I'm sorry to hear this happened . Especially because she's on my list of "things to do". My question is did you book her through the agency that you mentioned represents her or book her directly? It sounded as if you booked her directly so I wouldn't expect too much help from the agency that you circumvented to book her direct. BUT....my real question is if you HAD booked her through the agency would you have been protected from something like this by the agency? Would they share the liability in this situation and perhaps offer you a credit towards another girl on their roster? I wonder how they would handle a situation like this. I have done both and booked pse's through agencies and direct and I honestly can say I like the ease of working with a booker (Lexxi) I don't mind paying a little more to have a liaison to deal with bullshit just like this. I have often felt as if the girls are a little more comfortable with you when you go through a booker as well. I can say that this probably wouldn't have happened if you had booked through the agency because then she would of had heat coming from both you and them as a result of her actions.  The fact that it was just you and her communicating made it easier for her to pull this off.

You can't say that Demi's comment was implying she is "normal" for a pornstar because she clearly stated that her craziness is why she stopped working with her. That implies that Jaclyn was an extreme case and not worth supporting as an agency. I imagine Demi expects to provide good "customer service" as any business does and by parting ways with her, it implies that Jaclyn was bringing down that service. To me it says she was unreliable, inconsistent, and not representative of the expected level of service.

If she were just crazy the way you implied in your post, but still provided a qulaity and honest service, then she would probably still be working for Demi.

The first time I booked her, over a year ago, I booked her through an agency.  But in this and other instances I booked directly with Jaclyn.  Yes, there are always two sides (or three if you prefer) to every story, but it all happened just as I wrote it and I have all the text messages between us to prove it, even to those of you who are sceptical.  (look, I'd be sceptical too if this hadn't happened to me because I never had any problem with her until now.)  But you don't have to take my word that she has been making and breaking appointments without any notification; I learned after the fact from the agency she was working for that she has even been doing that to clients who booked her through the agency.  In fact, I only posted this review after the owner of that agency encouraged me to do so.  The truth is, and I think I said this, I liked Jaclyn a lot and as far as the sex goes I still do; our time together was always terrific - that is of course why I continued to see her and why I was willing to give her the advance she requested. She knew that I was crazy about her but in the end those feelings are what made me vulnerable to her and she took advantage of the fact. To the writer who mentioned that she was stalked by someone and maybe that was me, it's the first I've heard about it and it certainly wasn't me.  She wouldn't have sent me a text to tell me she couldn't wait for me to fuck her if I were a stalker, now would she?  (If any of you has any doubts about it I'd be happy to forward you the text message from her to that effect.)  I have no illusions that she is going to pay me back, but whether or not you think it was stupid of me to give her the advance that she requested (and in hindsight anyone can see that it was), it's a sad state of affairs for her to keep $3000 of someone else's money when it was advanced to her at her request and given as a favor to help her out.  It takes a high degree of selfishness and callousness to manipulate and use people who have only ever been kind to you.

There does appear to be an increased level of trust that comes with that.  Fortunately the level of trust has been that I never had to pay a deposit upfront although as I mentioned earlier I was asked once and politely declined.
I realize that involves a high level of trust on the providers part since they both flew a 1000 miles to see me that I would even be at the airport to pick them up let alone have their money.  Each time though I had seen them in their city and things had gone well.

So I suppose one could ask if they have that level of trust in me, then why won't I give them a deposit?  I do it because once I give them the money it is almost impossible to get it back.  With proper screening on their part, they have much more information on me than I do on them so  it should be easier for whoever they hired to find me and get payment of some sort than for me to find them, particularly if you don't even have their real name.  And lastly this is a business.  The one getting the money should more at risk in my viewpoint than the one giving the money.  At least that is the way I think it should work.

Sounds like you could make a case that you made a loan to her based on a verbal committment to repay you and take her to court.  Whether or not it is worth your while is another matter entirely.

If Demi says it, it's true.  With so many other choices out there (like Demi herself), why take the chance?

You did nothing wrong.  You trusted someone you have seen before. Chin up and go forward.

Take this as an opportunity to learn.  I've certainly made many mistakes over many years of hobbying, and mistakes are how we learn.  You broke at two rules of hobbying:  1) Never pay in advance, and 2) Never give a provider/agency your home/work contact information.

I think sometimes we are spoiled by the quality of ladies that frequent this board, and sometimes we forget that not everyone is as honest to deal with as they are.

Always be prepared to lose any money paid in advance of services, whether it's considered a prepayment or a deposit.  Likewise never share information such as home or work contact information if you're not comfortable with the idea that it could be used against you.

There are a lot of less than reputable providers/agencies out there.  Do your homework and play safe.

BTW, if Demi won't represent someone that carries a lot of weight with me.  Demi has built a good reputation for honesty and reliability.  I know that she's dropped girls who don't live up to her standards even though those girls are in demand.

I think you could not be more wrong...from a purely legal standpoint, it might not technically be theft...its probably more like fraud or talking in just civil court terms, at least a breach of contract...Are you saying that if I tell you I'll sell you beachfront property in Florida for $3000, you "freely" give me the $3000 and then I never send you the deed to the property or you discover the "beachfront" property is actually swamp land, you lose the $3000 simply because I didn't pull a gun and physically take it from you?  The same thing essentially happened here.  If the story is correct, she made representations to him, accepted $ based on those representations and then failed to fulfill those representations.  The real question is whether you could find her to server her with a lawsuit and whether you would want to take the risk of the ramifications from it.

I don't agree with robheffley that the two points he raises are the appropriate "lessons learned."  First, I don't think it's realistic to have a hard-and-fast rule, applicable in all situations, about the advisability of advances.  Obviously one has to be very careful about who one gives money in advance to.  But there have been instances where I have known a provider for awhile and a level of trust and friendship has developed that I have given advances (and even in one case a sizable loan) and I have never before had a problem.  As I said, I had known Jaclyn for more than a year and I had no reason to believe I couldn't trust her.  Besides that, I was very fond of her and that emotional attachment made it an impossible for me to so no when she told me she needed the advance.  (Giving her an advance on the second appointment too, however, was really stupid of me, but I'm only human and that is what an emotional attachment does: it instills blind faith in you and makes you oblivious to potential trouble.)  In hindsight, of course, I should have recognized that in asking me for an advance and in telling me how eager she was for me to fuck her that she was acting out of character.  That should have been a red flag that caused me to ask around about her.  Maybe then I would have found out from Demi that she wasn't to be trusted.  I didn't see my clear to that course of action because I had my own experience with Jaclyn and it never occurred to me to ask others about her.  (That may be the lessons learned.  People change.  The escort agency she worked for noticed a marked change in her reliability after she got a new boyfriend, something I was totally unaware of.)  

As to the second point, I believe her threats were largely hollow, but even so, she was silly enough to make them so who knows what she is capable of?  In any event, robheffley's point is mistaken because I never gave Jaclyn any personal information.  Even so, in the Internet age you'd be kidding yourself if you think personal information about any one of us isn't readily available, no matter what precautions are taken.  (I happen to be less exposed than most because I'm not cheating on anyone and I'm self-employed.)

I want to clarify something about Jaclyn's intentions.  I don't know what her original intentions were when she asked for the advance.  Only she knows that.  But it would undermine my faith in human nature to believe that at the very outset Jaclyn had larceny in her heart.  I would prefer to believe that she originally did intend to see me.  However, it doesn't really matter what she originally intended because her subsequent actions had the same effect as if she had planned all along to steal money from me.  

I think to focus on my behavior and to criticize it is a bit like telling the girl who got raped that she deserved it for wearing skimpy clothes.  Not that I'm above reproach - it's obvious in hindsight that I was misguided in trusting her - but some of the criticism on this board smacks of blaming the victim.  I have a very good reputation with agencies and providers.  I have always tried to treat providers with respect, affection, generosity and kindness.  I have helped them out whenever I could, and many have become friends.  My inbox is full of messages from them.  They usually let me know in advance when they're coming to town; sometimes we go to dinner together; and with some of them I've gone on vacations.  I even fell in love with one, she quit the business and we lived together for two years; and even though we're not together anymore, she is still a very close friend of mine.  I know perfectly well that what happened here with Jaclyn Case is an old, old story.  But being an old story doesn't make it any less disheartening.

I don't think it makes a lot of sense to look for some profound lessons learned here.  The lesson probably amounts to little more than some people are trustworthy, some aren't, and you can;t always tell one from the other.  But I didn't post this message because I was looking for answers or looking for sympathy...although sympathy does help alleviate the pain somewhat.    I posted this message because the escort agency she worked for thought it was the only possible way I could encourage her to pay me back the $3000.  At the time, I thought the idea had about as much chance of success as Big Brown losing the Belmont.  (Now of course I know it has even less chance than that!)  But I do agree that the only leverage we have against being cheated like this is by banding together as consumers.  That is why it is important not to see Jaclyn or buy any of her videos unless and until she returns the $3000.   This strategy may ultimately prove unsuccessful, but if we do not adopt such an approach we are only encouraging other providers to behave in similar ways.

I'd take this call for a boycott more seriously if you, Pacific Heat, were a known poster. As it is, it is a little hard to know if you are a shunned client looking for revenge, or a reasonable guy who got screwed. But, since you are not known here, or have chosen not to be known, it is harder to for me to take your side here.

Believe me, I have been screwed by lost travel and hotel $, but I have some advice for you. Try posting and developing some track record here, or revealing your identity if this is an alias.

As I said before it was her agency that suggested I post this message in the first place.  I didn't post it for revenge - revenge is petty and pointless - I only did it because I want my $3,000 back!!!  If you were in my shoes what would you have me do?  For you to say, well I don't know you, you don't have a track record, so I can't take you seriously, is cavalier and unwise, but of course it's your prerogative.  If you don't want to boycott her on my word, then don't.  I'm convinced, whether you believe me or not, I'm not going to get my money back.  But you're not just ignoring what I have to say you're ignoring the word of all the others like Demi and the agency that just dropped her that there is clearly something wrong with her.  She has become incredibly unreliable.  If you want to choose to ignore all of the signs that there is a problem you'll only be encouraging her and others similarly inclined.  If you want proof that I am no "shunned client" I can send you her text messages (but you'll have to tell me how to get them to you). I could also give you a long list of providers and agencies who could vouch for my reliability. It's very hard for me to do that, however, without publicly revealing my identity. I might risk it, though, if I thought there was anything to be gained by it.

Negative, if she was dealing through an agency, you could have court documents / a complaint drawn up to acquire her legal name and handle the process via those means.  If handled properly, it could even expose her real name in the local media.

It's a lose/lose situation for her, if & only if the hobbyist chooses to press charges - which he'd be fucking stupid not to.  Take control of the situation, she tread on your face - now curb stomp her.  If you have the attitude that "it's only money", then don't be disappointed when another whore does it to you.  Remember, they are only in it to fulfill your fantasies & their pocketbooks.

Besides, not only did she 'egg on' the situation by telling the hobbyist she "couldn't wait to fuck him", I'd think that could go a long way towards proving a prostitution charge as well.  Bad news for PSE's all around in that instance.

If they haven't voluntarily shared such information with your about their own personal lives, why would anyone feel compelled enough to do so about their own?

I understand the emotions get in the way of this kind of business, but that's something that most hobbyists should have grown out of 10 years (yup, high school-early 20's maybe) prior to being able to afford such a luxury. Whores aren't cheap.
