Give a thought tomorrow for the brave souls who gave their lives on those beaches 65 years ago, June 6, 1944, in the cause of freedom.

Makes no difference if you're liberal or conservative, Republican or Democrat, we all owe those guys a debt of gratitude.

If you ever get a chance to visit the American cemetery in Normandy, I urge you to do so.
