Under a different name... How many movies would 1 have to do to be considered a "porn star" && do you think I should go by my "porn name" or keep it separate? Opinions please ....
If you don't want to reveal who you are by listing the movies you've been in, you can PM me and I can answer you privately.
As for whether you should go by your porn name or use a new one... that's really a personal choice. As far as I know, there's no real stigma in the industry so having people know you provide isn't a problem. But, if you hope to go mainstream in the future, or want to keep your professional lives separated, then you should use a different name. There are porn stars, mainstream stars, wrestling stars and others who do not want it known they provide so they use a different name and use blurred photos or photos that don't show their faces.
It really depends on what you want people to know about you. And, when making that decision, remember that these days anything you do will show up on the Internet in some way, and will probably be permanent and searchable. So, if you want people 20 years from now to know that [real name] was a porn star by the name [porn name] and also worked as an escort, then no worries. But, if you're concerned about what people will find 5-10-20 years from now about you, then use a different name. That's not to say that the truth will never be known but it makes it harder to find out.
Again, if you want to discuss this more, feel free to PM me.
Anything you do that involves your porn name can be Googled pretty much forever. Some day some idiot who knows it will post your real name and then a link between your porn name and real name will also be on the internet for all to search. Then some other idiot mentions that he saw you once as an escort and Bang! Your cover is blown. This sort of thing will come back to haunt you in five or ten years. In my opinion, and it's only my opinion, the additional money you will make from escorting under a porn name isn't worth the additional headaches down the road.
Good luck and stay safe whatever decision you make.
Just my 2 cents.
