Having the most amazing time in NYC!

I flew into Manhattan on Thursday and have been spending lots of quality time with one of my best friends, Adrianna Nicole since I've been here. Last night, we were on a panel with other Porn Illuminaries for CineKink, cinekink.com, to discuss Ethical Porn with an audience at the Anthology Film Archives. Afterwards, we attended a screening of 6 scenes in a showcase called, "Bring It." My scene with Orpheus Black, Shane Diesel, Richard Mann and Alonzo Knight in Tristan Taormino's Rough Sex 2 was the last scene to be screened. Butterflies and nerves had me trying not to bite my nails while an edited version of the scene played on the big screen. I can not describe the feeling I experienced not only seeing myself on a movie screen, but experiencing it with a live audience of people that appreciated the work not only for its sensuality and provocative nature but its art, choreography and intensity as well. I was so overwhelmed that afterwards I couldn't stand as my knees were clearly jello and my hands were shaking. Men and women, both young and hip and more mature and experienced approached me afterwards to tell me just how amazing my performance was. One gray haired woman came up to me and told me that the ice and wax play and blade used in the BDSM scene was truly inspiring. I was so overwhelmed by all the accolades over a performance that resonated so personally for me that I was literally brought to tears... comforted by Adrianna and other friends that know how much this movie meant to me.

Not only that, but the literary agent that sold Jenna Jameson's first book approached me asking if I thought I could write a non-fiction book. My response? "I'm actually working on a non-fiction book right now about sex work and relationships. We've scheduled a business lunch for April when she is in Los Angeles for a Romance Novel convention.

Tonight is the Awards Show for CineKink, which has been showing nightly at the Archives since March 1. If you are interested in attending at 6pm to see if I take it home, check out the festivals website for location and RSVP to the bar where it is being held. Its not an expensive event, but I'd love to meet some of you! I originally had planned to head home today, but I have been enjoying my stay so much that I've decided to hang out until tomorrow evening. I'm always looking to have a good time and New York always seems to love me dearly. Of course, I have some of the most amazing girlfriends here that are porn stars and dominatrices and often enjoy playing with them. Outside of having drinks with Julie Simone and Domina Queen Delilah, my dance card is empty this evening. I may stop by Cirque Tabec this evening for a drink... but I'd love to meet a few new friends in the area. Do let me know if you're interested in getting together!

I've attached a photo of the screen from last night while my scene was playing. Such a cool image with the audience below... I had a friend that's been a staple in the art/ music scene in NY since the 70s that attended the screening last night who mentioned how cool it was to see the showcase as he remembered sneaking into porn theaters as a youth in Times Square in the 70s before peep shows.
