Regarding the TER guidelines/rules applying to Danny Ocean and Kevin Robby...

Just checked in and saw the thread about hosting the 300 Club and Danny Ocean's stuff off-line.

I just wanted to say that boneboybob and I consulted, and that I agreed with him 100%.

I've been bending the rules on the PS board a bit regarding Kevin's 300 Club, but the fact is I never considered the fact that there were delisted girls on it.

Also, there is the issue of posts being considered as ads for the girls, even if they haven't asked to be included on the list.  So all things considered, it's a proper thing to do... after all, we are all here at the kindness of TER; believe it or not, most people who use this site only use the review database... a very small percentage of site visits are to the discussion boards.

These boards are here out of the kindness of TER, and posting on them is a priviledge; so obeying the rules shouldn't be an issue.

TO KEVIN ROBBY: Since you seem to have no interest in posting your list off TER, if you'd like you can PM it to me weekly and I'll put it on my blog.

Seriously, can't KR just clean up his 300 club list and do more R&R and not include Delisters?

I think telling the world about girls that are 300 bucks or less could hardly be shilling, but simply hard work, good research.
It's a hobby,I think people enjoy his extension of the hobby.

his posts give hope to those of us that are not comfortable with the high priced agences.
It doesn't smell right to stop his fun humoured 300 club thing, and allow the rampant agent promotions and shilling that goes on here.

I will pass on the offer to do anything off the board.

And as long as a record is being made, on two occasions over the last year I was asked by PM to remove girls from the list.

First was someone with the initials RY.

Second was someone with the initials JH.

In both instances I removed them without question or hesitation.

If there was someone else on the list who was delisted, I was never told who they were, or asked to remove them.

If I had been asked, I would have removed them.

I am not sure how we are supposed to know to not mention people when it is a secret who they are.

I am not complaining.

I am just here to get laid.

So, a giant whatever....

have to agree with kevin here   , no one had a problem with the 300 club till  danny started pimping for his girls  and promoting what he hoped to become was a pay site to see his pics . thanks for the useful info kevin  it will be missed .

there is a very popular powerful provider who has had a hardon for this from the start. it is unfortunate.

You can imagine all the conspiricies you want, but the decision was made for exactly the reasons stated.  NO ONE influenced boneboybob's or my decision.

I agree with Kevin also and a I second that giant Whatever. It's a Porn forum for gods sake. And as for it being a privilege to post here - well i'll remember that when they debit my credit card again next month.

... but I've been told by TER Admin there's no centralized list of delisted providers. So enforcement of policy is "Oh, I remember, she's delisted" by me or whoever.

I've been told there will be an attempt to deal with this, but my feeling is that rather than have Kevin's list get periodically nuked when we find out oops, there's a problem, I'd like this all hosted off TER at the present time.

However, there's NO problem with mentioning delisted providers on things like M&G information pages, and precedent is set that these are fine to post on TER as a service to the community... so the idea is, fine, have the 300 Club listed elsewhere. (This also means that if a lady's profile is on another site that competes with TER... it can be listed as part of the 300 Club. This is true of a LOT of SFV porn starlets; they're listed on a site that starts with an H and ends with an X).

Quite frankly, I think sharing information among hobbyists is BIGGER than having to put up with whatever board rules exist wherever. An independent site means less headache as far as that is concerned.

Finally, if Danny isn't putting out a paysite, and is sharing information with the community, I think it's fair to allow him the same access as other hobbyists...

Given the time the "300 Club" has been posted here without objection by the moderators or other powers that be notwithstanding whether there were or were not delisted providers in the list, hasn't a precedent already been set here that it is okay to post here?

There would be LOTS of 300 Club members I should be striking, because their ads are on banned sites.

See, that's the problem, in a nutshell: the 300 Club is most useful NOT being published on any one review board site (and subject to the rules of the site), but just simply linked to from there.

Think of it as the hobby version of Switzerland...

you dodged the question of precedent that you initially raised.  There certainly was precedent for the 300 Club being posted here.  Ultimately, its TER's board and they can do what they want BUT if you as the moderator are going by precedent, this whole episode this week should never have happened because whether there are or are not delisted providers on the 300 Club List (which no one seems real sure of because the names are kept secret or in some way determined on an ad hoc or random basis), there certainly was precedent for it being posted here and approved by the moderators.  The actions this week effectively reversed that precedent, which again is fine if that's what TER wants to do.  All I am saying is that if you want to be true to your statements about precedent, then the 300 Club should be allowed to continue here based on the precedent previously set.

If I am a paying VIP member of TER, then posting on the discussion boards is not a privilege, it is my RIGHT!....as well as Kevin's.  If i post something that someone doesn't want to read, then don't read it...that's your right, same as it is Kevin's....you disrespect other people here by telling them what can and cannot be posted...just as long as it is not offensive or a shill (which Kevin's lists are not), i see no problem.

I understand that there are rules that must be adhered to or else the lunatics take over the asylum, but in all honesty i feel this is going overboard..

I can understand pulling down Danny Ocean's posts, because he is all about self promotion, but there is no way you should pull down Kevin's lists...they are informative and useful, and i for one enjoy seeing the updates...

just my two cents...

I am confused on that one because when you see my site it will be about the ladies not me..

In regards to my filming and doing this website I have two goals first one is to get other porn girls to join this Board so we guys have more options..Just like the Jordan Kingsley's, Ginger Lynn's, Becca Blossums, Darryl Hannah's, Sarah Brick's and a few others who I talked into joining this Board..And #2 for guys to see recent photos of the ladies and see them in action..

In my opinion the challenge with the $300 club is the girl's who are charging a lot more and who are TER approved are facing stiff competition with non TER approved girls..

Just because you pay for a membership doesn't mean you aren't subject to the rules and guidelines that TER imposes.  Just like I will not allow anyone to out a UTR provider... I don't care if you pay for a membership or not.

And let's be perfectly frank... you're not paying a monthly fee for the priviledge (or right) to post on a discussion board.  You can do that without being a paid VIP; you're paying a monthly membership for access to the review database, which is TER's bread and butter.  Without that, you wouldn't be paying a monthly membership.

If a poster says "I just saw XXX and she's available in Tuscon - is that considered "promoting"? Well.. of course it is. I see a great movie and I want you to know about it so you too can pay your money to see the movie. Same difference.

If a poster asks for information on "XXX" who in fact is de-listed from TER, how would the poster know? How would anyone here know? No TER profile for "XXX" could simply mean she's never been to TER before. As for de-listing.. does that mean she's banned from TER or she asked for her profile to be removed?

I thought the purpose of the board was to provide information - the who, what, where and how much, along with the occasional place to trade war stories and have a little fun with a joke here and there. If asking questions or providing links about providers is over the line then you might as well just have the providers post on the regional boards and zap the others.

As for "kindness" I will agree with that only if you're telling me that TER is losing money on the deal. My paid membership isn't a donation as far as I know. I'm paying for the ability to see the full reviews and access TER email. Any good review helps a provider make more money. A bad review (or in some cases bad comments) will save hobbyists some money. A larger community means TER makes more money so the use of the word "kindness" doesn't ring true to me.

what is this all about??
i did not see anything in previous threads.

I don't reside in LA and porn stars don't always visit my city but I alway enjoyed reading Kevin's 300 club posts.  Imagine all the work that went into putting those togehter.  How is he supposed to know when someone is delisted?  Is this considered "tribal knowledge" by TER only.  He is just trying to share all of what he knows with members.

I thought TER was all about sharing information and knowledge.

I agree the 300 Club was the best thing on here.  My guess is this is 5% about accidentally mentioning de-listed girls and 95% about overpriced TER girls trying to block reasonably priced competition.  It won't help.  The days of $1,800/hr are never coming back.

If I wanted to censor it altogether because of pressure from TER ladies, I'd hardly say "it's fine as an external link that's not hosted on TER", now, would I?

I stand corrected.  Thank you for setting up the blog.

Kevin is providing a service for us.  He obviously does not have time to look up every girl who qualifies for his list to see if she has been delisted or banned.  And he has not asked for any compensation.

Danny, OTOH, is promoting himself etc, totally different IMHO.

Oh, well.....

I just want to expose as many porn ladies to this Board as possible..My track record for ladies joining this Board because of me endorsing it speaks for itself..

I do not see the self promotion in that..

Fucking lame.... kevins posts were about the only thing of value on the ps board as of the last several months
lame shill for your blog too Eddie.... I'm not going to keep paying money every month to watch this board circle the drain....really lame

This board is free, you don't have to be a V.I.P. member to post or read the posts.  You're paying a membership fee to gain access to the VIP review database.  Don't be so fucking dramatic!

My Yahoo email account will not allow me to mail the text of the list.  I have tried on two occasions, most recently two minutes ago.  No go.  I get a message telling me it has restricted content in it, so something about it triggers Yahoo's filters.  All this nonsense is beyond my interests or abilities to address.  Again, this is just a hobby to me.

In any event, what I have is what I post, so any person on the planet can just go to my past posts and copy them.

So, I'll just say this again: I have no interest in off-site stuff (and am dubious that links to such an endeaver would long be allowed, buy that is another issue).

What's with all the hating about Danny's posts?
My belief is that if you don't like his posts, don't read them.
Personally, if it wasn't for Danny's information I would not have had the recent experiences that I did.
If you're serious about ways to meet pornstars who don't openly advertise, then you are doing yourself a diservice by not allowing Danny's post.

I hate to say this, but without the 300 posts & Danny's posts, I have to wonder whether it's worthwhile maintaining my membership here.
