Ok, everyone calm down please.

1)  I am far from the first person to ever comment on someone using all caps.  It is annoying due to the general use of it as analogous to shouting.

2)  If someone has a legitimate reason for it, as Randy obviously does, so be it.  Now I know, and it won't be annoying to me any more.  At the same time, I can imagine that having to explain this frequently could be annoying for someone in Randy's shoes.

Randy, you need to recognize that someone is not being childish for taking note of something like that.  It's not intended to denigrate your condition.  It is, instead, as I stated above, a normal reaction.  However, now that I'm aware of the reason, you have my apology.

I can only assume, since your reply is nested after SteakandGuy's, whose reply was in support of Randy's, that you are referring to me, as the original poster.

Whether Randy has a reason to type in all caps or not, who cares? THEY ARE CAPITAL LETTERS, that's all. They don't hurt your eyes, they don't change the tone or message of what he is saying, and they don't turn an inoffensive post offensive.
