I know it is a term used for small women in the adult film industry (like my ATF Nikki Dial) and a have a general understanding of the meaning. Just wondering was there a film by this name that coined the term? Does anyone know which lady was the first "spinner?"

I recently read a review on TER using the term "spinning cowgirl" and posted a question on the general board asking what this means.....

a spinner is a lady small enough to be easily spun into a different position. I'm pretty sure the term originated in the adult film world. I was hoping that someone might have some background info. Just curious.

My understanding of this term is that it describes a lady so small and flexile that from the cowgirl position you could spin her around like a top. Anyone ever tried it???

My understanding was the term was coined in Thailand.  Legend has it that small girls sat is baskets (with the bottom exposed) suspended over their clients by a single wire.  After the girl was lowered onto her client she spun until satisfaction was achieved.

Back to the second part of my question. I first heard the term "spinner" as a description for the smaller ladies in adult films. Does anyone know of any films devoted to these ladies and this topic?

Check out Videoage.com... I believe at one time they had a four pack VHS tape devoted to spinners.  And I believe it's just petite woman that you can spin around easily, although I think one of the tape covers featured a girl on a table with a convenient hole...

I can help settle this once and for all.

The Spinners were a black R&B band in the 70's and 80's.

I produced one of their concerts at Purdue U in 1976, but due to massive substance abuse can't remember any of their songs, or anything else about that day.
