I agree with each of you Ferangi®, Anathema®, fasteddie51® and jmb®.  Also, I know exactly who Ferangi is talking about and you will not find a more dedicated and outstanding provider (some just as equal but none surpassing).

I have recently been the victim of a TER policy that upon reviewing, I don't like but it is written in black and white. I would like others opinions on this...

I wrote a review back in September of my first experience in this hobby with a porn star. It was a wonderful experience. I had the fortune to see that Porn Star again 2 1/2 months later and wrote another review of her..

TER recently removed my first review of this star. Evidently you are only allowed to have one review per provider? I understand not getting credit for the second review, but to remove a review because a hobbyist is seeing a provider twice seems ridiculous.

How do you all feel?  I think it is unfair to the provider, and unfair to the hobbyist. If I want to write a review of a provider I am seeing again why does one have to be removed?  If anything the fact that I am seeing her again or that another hobbyist is willing to post a review again tells me something about that provider?  Am I being unreasonable??

Frustrated hobbyist

Yeah, I agree with you, there are some pretty stupid rules here sometime.

My guess is that because VIP membership is free if you post reviews (two reviews per month covers the otherwise $20 fee), I guess they don't want you reviewing the same girl over and over again for credit... Of course, they could always leave the review up and just not credit you for it.

I think something even more important that needs to be addressed is not the body of the review itself, but the data above the review about exactly what services are provided.  That information is set by the first person to review her, and in many cases those services change.... sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worse... That info  should be reviewed regularly and updated to reflect the most recent descriptions of the provider's menu.

If they continue to allow one review only my suggestion would be to allow an edit function where you note the number of subsequent visits.  Repeats are a mark of a quality provider.

The price, services performed, etc. are all based on the first review and don't appear to change even when subsequent reviews list different rates or services. I get all of these emails about profiles being updated, but the only changes are to email addresses, phone numbers or the addition of new reviews.

I will say it again.. If you don't want to reward credits for repeat visits fine, but don't penalize excellent providers by removing repeat reviews from a returning hobbyists.

I know it is difficult, but it is healthy to review some policies every now and then, and it is okay to change them..

Check out this link:  http://theeroticreview.com/info/policy.asp

"8.  You may also submit an update on a provider that you have already reviewed. We will replace your old review, but you won’t be credited for an additional 15 days. Your new review must be a complete rewrite that adds something new to the experience in order for it to replace the old one."

In other words, your review must have something new, and it clearly states that it will replace the old one.

I think I'd give less weight to a provider's reviews if a lot of them were written by the same people.  Just a thought...

It would help to have more than one review sometimes, then you would know if there was a change in service, maybe better, maybe worse, it just makes more sense to leave other reviews up when the next one is added

This is the crux of the problem.. I have no problem not getting credit for a repeat. But the idea that a review must be replaced simply because a hobbyist sees a provider twice is ludicrious.

It is also self-defeating, and in my opinion hurts both the hobbyist and the provider.. Obviously you want to prevent abuses but if a hobbyist sees a provider 3 months later, and wants to write anoher review, or he sees her even 6 months later, why remove the original?  As a hobbyist I look to see if a provider is getting repeats,
