Awesome blog entry, the trade show part and how to get admission is extremely helpful.  I'd be a bit weary about the W-2 form thing but as long as your not filing it, I don't think you'd be committing any felonies by just writing false information.

I'm considering attending this year and I know it's changed a lot since 5+ years ago.

Eddie, it's good that you set the bar at modest levels for everyone to not have incredible over the moon expectations, but take the AVN experience as an adventure. If I get out there, I think the networking might be worth the trip. Develop PSE contacts and go from there.

Vegas is wild even without the AVN/CES circus, it's that much more amped up when both conventions are in full swing. As hobbyist,
ya gotta know the girls are in high demand during the convention. So if serendipity is on your side, you'll fuck your brains out. if not, make the connects for fucking with your fav. pornstar at a later date.

Don't be surprised if the AVN show and the awards night are moved to a new venue in Las Vegas. It may happen by next year, but I think more realistically 2011.
