I'm sorry, knowing a few girls in the industry, as in personal friends, outside of the hobby, that article is complete exaggeration. An agency could give two shits less about your financial background, nor do you haggle prices. Not to mention many first time boy girl rates are under 1000. 1500 boy girl is exclusive, high caliber girls, and she isnt one, yet anyhow. Your rate is your rate, set by your agent, whos the expert in the field. Btw, everyone gets paid per scene because compa.ies pay you, and your agent takes a percentage. The only contract, is that your agent owns you for x amount of years unless they cant book you anymore, you can leave.Getting a sex toy, new girls dont get contracts for sex toys. Some new girl isnt changing the industry. This articles nonsense. Quick google searched turned up her agency, a very minor one. I'm just saying, a publicist lined this article up, and its not true.  

Real story: not making as much as she hoped with a four year degree, she started doing porn. Shes not making six figures, I can promise you that. At 1k per boy girl she makes 850 after agency, about 650 after taxes. She would have to shoot 20 boy girls a month, and no one does that. Just say you got into porn because you wanted to, whats wrong with that?

You hit the nail right on the head dude. I know SEVERAL stars personally who have their own websites in addition to shooting scenes, and none are making six figures unless they are supplementing their income with escorting. And they are a LOT more popular than this girl. Never even heard of her. Studios simply are NOT shooting as much these days, and so many new girls are entering the industry, so the competition is fierce. The work is simply not there the way it used to be. Your rundown of porn star rates is spot on also. It amazes me how incredibly stupid a lot of fanboys are. Spent time with a friend recently and she said she has actually met fans who thinks she makes well over 10,000 per scene and 100,000 per feature film. Dumdasses.
