Leslie Stahl interviewed a famous porn star on 60 Minutes. I forget her name but she had short black hair and a David Letterman tooth gap (diastema). In her vids, she did everything, including lots of anal, dp, tp, etc.. She cried and cried to Stahl about how terrible porn is and that she needs to get out. Stahl bought it. After the interview, the porn star went back to the set to film her next porn movies. 60 Minutes broadcast the crying - "I have to get out" version and Stahl ended up looking like she had been taken ... which she was.

Two things can be true at once.  Lots of chicks are disillusioned after doing porn or sex work.  But some, such as Lana, also believe that they "would have" (not just "could have") gotten to their position in life without going through the same experiences.  That's ego talking.  More likely she'd still be a cashier at the grocery store (or whatever.)

Reading that NY Post story, she was young but well before her 250th scene she must have known sex was involved in porn, right?  
I spent time with her on three occasions. VERY sweet girl. She did an overnight at my apartment on last visit. Quiet, nice moderately sexual, very open and honest. She got butt implants before our last visit that did not look good.

She's entitled to hers. But her saying she didn't know porn included sex is like me saying I didn't know coal mining meant going underground.  

And her line about "not liking people" suggests bitterness and misanthropy that likely predated her porn work. She sounds like she'd be pissed to do any type of work as opposed to someone just giving her money.

Unfortunately, as it was very common at the time, Belladonna got hooked on drugs. Meth mostly. She did that interview while in a really bad mental space.  

Same thing happened to Nadia Styles.
