Word has it that the Tony Soprano character he played was nothing like him at all. Apparently, he was a soft spoken gentile giant of a man. He did wrestle with on and off addition and my guess is that his weight and diet played a part in being at high risk for heart failure. Sigh, so much great potential yet to be realized with his acting abilities.  

But his flame burned brightly... Rest In Peace JG. RIP.

A fond memory from the show... At night with Back In Black on the stereo Tony is driving down the road in his SUV while a stripper from the club is giving him a blowjob.
