Porn Stars

Avoid Eros!

Eros is now so full of fake ads.  Best thing is to try and ensure they have an active Twitter account.

So after way too many years hobbying -- I should definitely know better -- I got ripped off this week in LA and I feel so dumb.

Arranged a date with a porn star. Initially made contact based on an Eros ad (I now see that same email on the Dating Pornstar site). Several red flags, including a deposit, intense screening, flaking on date, etc. but I just ignored all of them, including the one where i put the cash in an envelope in the bathroom.

Anyway, a woman shows up, absolutely not her (though at first I thought it might have been... she was masked but way heavier than the woman in question). Takes the money. Admits she is not the one I booked. I say please give me my money back. Refuses and all of a sudden it's drama with the dispatcher and some bullshit artist threatening me. She left.

The interesting thing about it is the way the guy who called me was so full of shit. Yelling, to get my ire up. Quoting some license number, using all sorts of business terminology that made no sense and threatening to call the hotel security and the police. Ultimately it was more entertaining than upsetting, except for the part where she walked away with my money.

Anyway, be careful out there boys... turns out there are shady ripoff artists involved with porn stars and escorts

Thanks for sharing your story and your warning.

Some might not agree, but I suggest you report this, anonymously if you want, to LE. This sounds like organized crime, to me. Just alert the Vice Squad (?) to the ad, the email, phone number (if there is one), etc. and other non-ID-ing info. Print the info using a generic printer; mail it without a return address; or phone them using a burner phone; other method?
.
The up side: getting potentially violent ("threatening me") thugs off the street.
.
The down side: If it is an organized group, they might have your info in seized records and you will be contacted by LE. "Yes, I was ripped off and THAT was illegal but I did nothing illegal when I arranged for a non-sexual massage, did I? ... The ad says "porn star"? Who knew?! I just thought it was a massage ad. ..."
Well, don't lie to LE but do protect yourself.
.
It may be a tough decision for you to make, but maybe others will chime in on their experiences or their thoughts.
.
Good luck!

Hi,

Sorry to hear.  I would contact EROS and let them know, but that's as far as I'd go.  I try not to do deposits anymore, as 50% of the time you lose them.    I notice EROS verified a couple girls that were clearly faked, I hope they get it together.  They are going to lose total credibility.

You'd hope there is some protection by booking thru ads on their site....
